About The E-Go's

The E-Go's are undoubtedly the most exhilarating and creative band to emerge from The Black Country in decades. The bands memorable riffs, commanding drum beats and down to earth lyrics, about their lives in modern society, can be related to by their widespread audience. Live, their sound is projected with an arrogance and swagger which is both attention grabbing and admirable. Their sound echoes the various influences of the band in a distinctive way, these include Oasis, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys and The Libertines.

The E-Go's are the latest phenomenon to grace the Midlands music scene. Live, their sound is projected with an arrogance and swagger which is both attention grabbing and admirable. In February 2009 the band released EP ‘Take the Money & Run' to critical acclaim.

2009 has seen the band sell out The Little Civic (21/2) and The Civic Bar (2/5). They also won Kerrang Radio's unsigned band competition to win a support slot at the Civic Hall (29/5).

In July 2009 The E-Go's signed a record deal with the Raven:Indie label. They're debut single ‘When The Fires Fly' will be released in early 2010.

"...Flying the flag for the Black Country in true kick-arse style - The E-Go's... subversive and quietly confident big attitude rock with a hint of old Stuffies and nu-punk coolness thrown into this sexy but modest five-piece collective... keep your eye on these... they have a whiff of something bigger to come." - DJ KATY JAY, 101.8 WCRfm

"A Brit rocking swagger of an outfit!"  - Bug Bear Promotions
