About

The Black Eyed Peas have announced the Masters Of The Sun Tour, and will be playing in the UK  in October and November 2018. It has been eight years since the band last toured Europe.

Formed early 1990s, it wasn’t until 2003 with the release of their third album, Elephunk, that they began to see success. It was also the first album to feature the vocals of Fergie.

The group’s first major song was Where Is The Love? peaked at No. 8 in the US Billboard charts however it spent seven weeks at the top of the UK charts, and became the biggest-selling single of 2003.

Since then, the band have released songs which have climbed charts all over the world, such as Shut Up, Don’t Lie, My Humps, Pump It and more as well as having won two Grammys for Let’s Get It Started and Don’t Phunk With My Heart.

In 2009, the band released The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies) which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The first single, Boom Boom Pow, became the band’s first No.1 single in the US, and topped many other charts including the UK, Australia and Canada.

Their second single released from this album, I Gotta Feeling, first debuted at No.2 on the US Billboard chart, behind their first single, Boom Boom Power, before claiming the No.1 spot.

After many rumours, in February 2018, will.i.am confirmed Fergie had left the band.
