Bringing live entertainment to the banks of the Avon since 2018
The Bath Festival Finale Weekend is a music festival based in Bath Recreation Ground in the heart of the city of Bath in the UK. The Finale Weekend takes place over two days every year as the curtain-closer to The Bath Festival and was founded by the partnership of Bath Festivals and award-winning Orchard Live music promoters. Blending together a mix of genres, including pop chart-toppers, reggae, rock and R&B, the festival showcases some of the best live music acts from around the world in an outdoor setting in stunning grounds, with views of Bath's historic architecture and rolling green hills.
The first Bath Festival Finale Weekend took place in 2018, and past line-ups in 2018 and 2019 included acts such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Paloma Faith, Robert Plant, Midge Ure, Mabel, Clean Bandit, Van Morrison and Corinne Bailey-Rae.
The Bath Festival Finale Weekend also includes the Bath Introduces talent competition, showcasing up-and-coming music talent. Solo acts and bands compete for slots to play on the main stage at the festival, with the successful act also winning a day in a professional recording studio. As well as the main stage, there are several side stages, including the Big Top and City stages, plus others featuring local talent, the spoken word and street theatre.
The Bath Festival Finale Weekend is a family-friendly festival and includes a Kids Zone with live entertainers for young festivalgoers to enjoy. The festival also includes local talent, street theatre and spoken word performances, with a wide variety of food and drink offerings and undercover seating to shelter from the sun or the rain.
