The K-Pop group returns to London July 2025

The product of a reality TV show, the South Korean boy group Stray Kids have risen to international stardom far beyond the typical K-Pop fandom.

Formed in 2017, Stray Kids emerged from the eponymous survival reality show produced by JYP Entertainment, a South Korean multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate fronted by music industry mogul, Jin Young Park. Initially a nine-strong boy band, today Stray Kids is made up of eight multi-talented members – Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han Felix, Seungmin and I.N. – all of whom had to showcase their prowess for singing, rapping, dancing and producing whilst on the show. 

Now widely celebrated for their powerful music and lyrics that tackle themes of identity, mental health and societal pressures, the group have also earned respect for primarily self-producing their songs. The group’s main production team goes by the name 3Racha (consisting of group leader Bang Chan alongside Changbin and Han), who write and produce for the group, and sometimes perform as a three-piece.

In 2018, Stray Kids released their first official EP, I Am NOT, which was followed by the EPs I Am WHO and I Am YOU, completing the I Am EP series. Spotlighting their unique blend of hip hop, EDM, and trap, the EPs served to build up both their domestic and international fan bases, known as STAY. The group’s follow-up EP trilogy consisting of Clé 1: MIROH, Clé 2: Yellow Wood, and Clé: LEVANTER, was released in 2019 and features Stray Kids’ characteristically emotional lyrics as they explore some pretty philosophical questions.

Their first studio album, GO LIVE, arrived in 2020 and became the band’s first platinum-certified album by the Korea Music Content Association, meanwhile their second album, NOEASY (2021), was their first album to sell one million copies and became one of the best-selling K-Pop albums that year.

After signing with Republic Records in the US in 2022, Stray Kids released their mini-albums ODDINARY, followed by Maxident in the same year, Rock-Star (2023) and Ate (2024). Along with their third full-length album, 5-Star (2023), these five releases peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 and entered the UK Albums Chart, making them the first band to debut at the top of Billboard 200 with their first-five-charted albums. In 2023, the band was also listed in Time's round-up of ‘Next Generation Leaders’, further solidifying their status as one of the most influential music groups internationally, not just within the K-Pop genre. 

In 2024, Stay Kids became the first male K-Pop group to headline BST Hyde Park. The group’s success is widely attributed to their close relationship with their fanbase STAY, as well as their tireless work ethic and impressive live shows as they continue to tour globally. Stray Kids frequently credit their fans for giving them these opportunities, and maintain an air of modesty whilst being one of the biggest musical acts in the world.

    I loved seeing stray kids i had always wished to see them at a concert i sae them at hyde oark and i had the best nught of my lufe cant wait to see them at tottenham

    Skz were so good at The Hyde park festival but I wish they were there for longer, I cant wait to go to the spurs stadium one! At Hyde park stray kids energised everyone with their amazing performances I lost my voice at the first song they played at Hyde park Thats how energised I was I was shouting the lyrics, I was also with one of my closest friend's and we were misung, I was Minho/leeknow and she was han (pink and Green) I loved how the members acted on stage and how hot they looked, I even got noticed like 3x , 1. My poster was on big screen 2. When bangchan was speaking I screamed and he laughed 3. Me and my friend were chanting Wolfgang really loudly and all the members heard us and laughed

    Honestly, going to see Stray Kids at Hyde Park was a phenomenal and unforgettable experience - and now that I've been given the opportunity to go and see the DominATE tour, I'm beyond excited. This will be my second time seeing Stray Kids live; and honestly, to any new Stay who want to listen to them, honestly their music will change your life, because it's changed mine. The songs are amazing, the dancing is just flawless, and you can feel the love that SKZ have for their members. It's like being part of one big family. I'm so excited to go see them in July!! I 100% recommend listening to their music!

    I've seen Stray Kids 7 times with four (maybe 5) more venues already bought for the new tour… they are so entertaining and so great to watch. I'm old and have seen a LOT of concerts (Aerosmith to George Strait to Rush, etc.) These guys are the best I've ever seen!!!

    I've seen Stary Kids in Anaheim during Maniac world tour and Hyde park and have to say that that will and will always be some of the best performers to see live. From the atmosphere, to the performance to the comedy that they bring to each show it's definitely something that everyone should go to at least once in their life. Especially since the concerts bring a sense of a home atmosphere and every that goes is family to each other.

    I saw them at Hyde Park and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere was electric! Their vocals, dance and powerful beats make them true performers. They gave us everything that night. I look forward to seeing them again.... and again...and again! Stray Kids all around the world, you make stray kids stay.

    I have went to see StarKids at Hyde Park 2024 and they were amazing. Their energy and aura topped any other artists I have seen. The performance was amazing and so emotional as I have been a big fan for so many years. Their dancing was perfect, vocals and rap was immaculate and their communication and the way they interacted with us was super amazing. It was the BEST EXPERIENCE of my life and a time I will never ever forget. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️😍
