About

Staying Relevant: Live, For One Night Only

Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks are thrilled to announce they will be bringing their chart-topping podcast Staying Relevant to London's The O2 Arena on 19 September 2025.

With two previous sold out tours under their belts, Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks are back to bring Staying Relevant to one of the world’s most iconic arenas, The O2.

Sam and Pete said: “The community we’ve been able to build through our podcast is nothing short of incredible so to celebrate with all of our listeners, in one huge venue, will be a night to remember. Expect the unexpected!  We are planning the biggest and best show of our lives in London – mad moments, special guests and to be honest, anything could f***ing happen.”

Listeners will get the chance to join Sam and Pete in their weekly quest for fame as they continue to explore what it really takes to stay relevant. During the show, as well as learning first-hand about the perils and pitfalls of fame from two best friends in the industry, there will be plenty of interactive moments including the “Vault”, where some clips of Pete’s questionable opinions may be revealed to the audience. There will also be a new spin-off from the podcast’s popular “Sidebar Of Shame” called “The Seat Of Shame” giving members of the audience a chance to go on stage to share their “Seat Of Shame” moment.

After countless conversations about what it really takes to maintain fame for the long run, Staying Relevant was launched by Pete and Sam in 2022. The award-nominated podcast has recently celebrated over 5 million downloads and has hit (and held) the coveted No.#1 Comedy chart spot on numerous occasions.

So, the fridge is stocked with beer (for Pete) and Peperami (for Sam), and the format has been carefully planned… On the back of a napkin. Expect plenty of laughs but mostly utter chaos as the boys look back at their careers and share their hopes and dreams for a future of superstardom.

  • Great night

So pleased I went to the Sunday show. Was initially nervous of going on my own but quite a few people went on their own and everyone was super nice. The show itself was great fun and really funny. Kept the spirit of the podcast but ramped up the entertainment. Pete & Sam, thanks for a wonderful evening. I was very impressed and can't wait for the next show. Still not sure how I got persuaded into buying a Pete dishy cloth after the show.
