About
Canadian post-hardcore group with 11 studio albums under their belts
Silverstein formed in the year 2000, taking their name from that of children's author Shel Silverstein. They self-released their debut EP, Summer's Stellar Gaze, before releasing their first full-length debut album, When Broken Is Easily Fixed, with Victory Records in 2003. They released their sophomore album, Discovering the Waterfront, two years later. In the following years they would tour with bands like Bayside and Simple Plan, and release a third album, Arrivals & Departures, in 2007.
Over the next ten years, the band would go on to release six further albums, with their ninth, Dead Reflection, arriving in 2017. In March 2020, at the very beginning of a global pandemic, the band released their tenth studio album, A Beautiful Place to Drown. Misery Made Me, their eleventh full-length record, arrived in May 2022.
