No Upcoming Concerts
We're sorry, but we couldnât find any upcoming concerts for Rewind Festival. Please check back soon.
Rewind is back but, as David Bowie sang, there are a few âch-ch-ch-ch-changesâ for 2025.
Rewind South in its full glory will take place, as usual, at Temple Island Meadows in Henley- on-Thames from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 August with a line up to be announced in the New Year.
Rewind South will also see a full schedule of acts for the Pink Flamingo & River Stage and the return of the Silent Disco, âWhen Nature Calls,â funfair rides, kid-zone with entertainment for the little Rewinders, shops & stalls for jewellery, t-shirts, food & drink, plus all your usual camping requirements. Early bird tickets will be on sale at 09:00, Friday 18 October.
And ⌠drumroll please ⌠2025 sees the launch of Rewind at Dreamland in Margate, Kent as a one-day event on Saturday 14 June, and over in Ireland weâll be partying with Rewind Dublin on Sunday 1 June and Rewind Cork on Saturday 21 June. Full line-ups to all the Rewind shows above will be announced very soon â we promise we wonât Keep You Hanginâ On for long!
Unfortunately Rewind Scotland is taking a sabbatical next year, (but watch out for future announcements) and Rewind North will also not take place in 2025. Capesthorne Hall have undertaken a review of their events & wedding business strategy and decided that, due to an upturn in the demand for wedding bookings in July and August, they can no longer be a home for Rewind or any large-scale camping Festivals for 2025 or the foreseeable future.
We know many of you will be disappointed with this news, but weâre sure youâll join us in thanking Scone Palace in Perth and Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield for their hospitality and support over the past, fantastic Rewind years.
Keep an eye out for ticket news, updates & more announcements â and keep those big, wonderful Rewind smiles for us all to see next year!
Great weekend real friendly atmosphere camper van entry and exit could do with improving but great fun all weekend whilst you are inđ
The line up of festival acts looked promised. Some really good moments and overall a great experience, made more so by great company. Highlights included some of the 'secondary' stage acts, such as Davie Bowie tribute. Headliner Billy Ocean put on a great show, but The Jacksons (as well as other acts) were let down by faulty and poorly balanced sound systems. We attended by boat, booking our mooring and weekend festival tickets in advance. Communication regarding the mooring booking was very poor, with no form of confirmation of booking for months., even though we had paid for and confirmed our festival tickets well in advance. Process (for booking a mooring) was a shambles - the organisers simply didn't appear to care. There was no response at all to repeated email requests to confirm our booking, even after many others had eventually received their confirmations. On site security staff were very friendly.
Thoroughly enjoyed our second Rewind South weekend. Everything was well organised and the acts were fantastic. The good weather always helps, but the team behind the scenes do so much to ensure we are comfortable over the weekend.
We had a great weekend, the weather really helped. We found it expensive for food and drinks, the on-tap water was not good, maybe they could sell bottles of water at cost just to keep people hydrated without ripping us off. Queues to get in on Friday were terrible, it took us 4 hours to get to the Motorhome area, the logistics of this need reviewing, getting out on Monday was nearly as bad due to the exit track, thank goodness it hadn't rained or many would still be stuck there on Tuesday! Lack of toilets and the frequency of cleaning and replenishing loo rolls in the Motorhome area was not good, what were we actually paying the extra for? In all a good venue and good bands, the logistic organizers need to review their part.
Have attended Rewind South for 5 years and really enjoyed it up until now. Too many tickets sold for the Saturday and poor quality acts. Decided not to return next year.
Anyone who loves music from the 80-90s would love this festival! Its a must, defiantly booking for next year!!!
The disabled parking was no where near entrance. In past years it has been right next to the entrance. Both myself and my friend have disabled badges. We had to pull our trolleys a far distance, even with friends helping us, we found the distance from the car to the entrance very grueling with our disabilities. Where we usually park there was steel fencing up. We couldn't go to the arena om Friday night as we usually do as we were exhausted. It kind of ruined our weekend. We did enjoy the acts tho. In the arena there was only one accessible toilet which if the queues for the toilets were long then non disabled people used the accessible toilet resulting in us having to wait to use it. The slog to the carpark on Monday morning was worse than on Friday morning. After 10 years of going to rewind south we will not be going next year because of our experience with the disabled parking
1. Parking of the camper vans seemed to confuse the organisers so much that, despite the field available being huge we had to wait nearly FOUR hours at the site before we were allowed to park up. Hot day, camper vans overheating, horrendous. 2. The camper van site was a 25 minute walk from the entrance to the arena. 3. The camper van site was a huge field as said before. Only ONE set of showers at one end. That was it for the entire site. 4. Toilets at either end of the huge field. None placed inbetween as at other festivals we have been to. 5. Unreasonably high alcohol prices. 6. Impossible to hear the bands if you were towards the back of the arena. Extra speakers and screens are needed. 7. Very disappointing line up on the Saturday. A little better on Sunday.
Saturday was a stronger line up but both days very good. Staff were as helpful as usual, one particular staff member was great at giving guidance in the camp site we stayed at. Couple of things to improve - 1) Showers - we stayed in the camp site to the right of the Rewind entrance arch, and towards the end of that field near the cross-roads into the field next to the campervans. Last year there were 12 showers centrally located and all worked well. This year there were only 4 shower in that field, and they were located too far away. They also only ran warm 25% of the time. On the other side of the fence in the campervan field, there were another 12 showers that all ran warm. It didn't make sense to have the campervans have 12 showers available to them, but have 2 fields full of campers only have access to 4 cold ones. At one point there was 20 in one queue and 34 in the other. 2) Bar prices - the bars were the quietest I have seen them as people refused to pay ÂŁ6.20 for 1 can of Madri. Maybe the organisers should consider lowering their prices which in turn will generate more sales. Apart from these all was good!
It's a great experience. We found it very relaxed and friendly. You get a bit more room for camping so can take a slightly bigger tent but beware you'll need to get a decent trolley to bring your stuff into the campsite but did see a few wheelbarrows. The festival is well organised and at a relaxed pace with loads of bars and food stands. It's right on the Thames about 30 mins walk from Henley or you can get a river taxi, this is essential if you want to stock up with booze and snacks. Dressing up! The amount of people in fancy dress is amazing almost outnumbering us boring ones, it's just a fun atmosphere. The music is all 80s and 90s and great, Kim Wilde was my favourite but Billy Ocean was headlining and he was awesome and there was tons of other 80s bands. Had a great time.
Fabulous - our 8th Rewind and as good as ever!! Great acts - favourites were Earth Wind & Fire Experience, Billy Ocean and the Jackson 5.
This was my 5th rewind festival and in my opinion the Saturday was the best line up I've seen so far! Billy Ocean was amazing as always. It was the first time seeing both Jason Donovan and Boyzlife and both were amazing too! The actual festival is always great, although the mark up on food and drink is getting ridiculous, it's more greed now which in this current climate is wrong. One coffee bar was selling pastries for ÂŁ4 each, they were Costco pastries at ÂŁ7.49 for a tray of 12âŚ..a profit of ÂŁ40.51 which is greedy in my opinion (I didn't buy one). As for the queuing to get in, it's never been so bad. There's always been 4-5 queues but this year there was initially one very long queueâŚvery disorganised! They also need more martials in the car park once the acts finish at 10pm. We sat in the car waiting to get out of the space for an hour. There was a lot of rage too, we thought at one point there was going to be a fight or crash! Please rewind sort this out for next year!
Thank you to callum and spud , you know who you are , thank you for keeping the loos clean and tidy and checked, My family and i really appreciated your effort , especially callum.
just got home from rewind south at henly , had the best time , as always at any 80s rewind , great fun , great people, all the acts were great . But for me the jacksons stole the show. BRILLANT! Roll on 2025
It's always a fun and enjoyable time. A great festival, very well organised.
The lineup this year was very disappointing at Rewind South on Sunday. They need to step it up or I won't be returning! I
12th year and as good as it gets. All the usual gripes, expensive food, drinks, people putting chairs in the dance area, taking too long to get out of the car park, loved this act hated that one. It's a festival of 80's music and the majority of the crowd grew up with that music so most are 50+, so put up with the occasionally grumpy old people. The only downside as it is every year is the lack of phone signal, but if you think Henley is posh, the venue is in the poshest area, so no chance of a phone mast to improve the situation. But just remember we didn't have mobile phones or social media in the 80's, we sent letters and told people how we felt. So it's just living the genuine 80's experience.
The festival itself was wonderful and could not fault it at all, we was charged quite a lot of money to take the caravan but the facilities were diabolical, only 2 water points which were very far away from where we were sited, for the amount of caravans/motorhomes there were would have expected more.
The music part is great and it's a fun weekend, but when you pay a premium for a campervan ticket and you arrive early to be told you're being put in a holding field with little organisation for two hours, apparently as a punishment, it really took the edge off. This was made worse by being told by staff manning the campervan area that they had been twiddling their thumbs waiting for people for 4 hours. In previous years we just waited in an orderly queue with no issues for anyone. Very disappointing. Drinks overpriced and low quality but no change there.
Rewind had a really good lineup which was let down by very poor sound from the main stage. When artists were talking to the crowd we couldn't hear what they were saying and when they started singing it felt like the volume was set to low - unfortunately feeling more like a picnic than a music festival!
