The UK’s most loved podcasts come to London
Podcast Stop is a new festival celebrating your favourite podcasts by bringing together podcasters and their fans. This unique event is comprised of a series of live shows that will take place at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town.
Created by Live Nation Comedy, the inaugural comedy-centric festival allows podcasters to broadcast directly in front of live audiences. A wide range of shows are anticipated for Podcast Stop including Katherine Ryan’s candid chat and pettiness in Telling Everybody Everything, Bebe and Jessie Cave’s snapshot into sisterhood in We Can't Talk About That Right Now, Ian Boldsworth and Barry Dodds’ arguments about the existence of ghosts in The Parapod Live, the QI elves’ extraordinary facts in No Such Thing As A Fish Live, and Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Rachel Fairburn’s dive into the macabre world of serial killers in All Killa No Filla.
“The U.K. podcast market is exciting and vibrant,” said Anna Cooke, a promoter with Live Nation Comedy, about the nation’s thriving podcast landscape. “We are delighted to be launching this festival and presenting some great shows.”
Initially set to kick off in the UK capital in early 2021, organisers announced Podcast Stop had been moved to late spring from 20 – 30 May 2021.
