Emerging from Ireland with a cinematic pop-rock style all their own, Picture This were formed by childhood friends Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford.
As a duo, they uploaded the song Take My Hand to their social channels in 2015 and it went viral. Later that year when they started playing live gigs, two more friends – Owen Cardiff and Cliff Deane – were recruited.
As a four-piece Picture This released an EP called For You in 2016 followed by their self-titled debut album in 2017. Both reached No.1 on the Irish music charts, with Picture This going triple platinum and also topping the streaming chart for seven weeks. Soon they were headlining shows in stadiums and arenas in Ireland as well as at prestigious venues in the UK.
Picture This released their follow-up album MDRN LV in 2019, and it spawned the hits One Drink and Everything Or Nothing. Not only did MDRN LV land at No.1 on the Irish albums chart, but it also reached No.54 on the UK albums chart.
Following festival appearances in 2019 and providing support in early 2020 on the Jonas Brothers tour, Picture This were busy in the studio releasing singles like Unconditional, Winona Ryder, Troublemaker, Things Are Different and LA House Party.
The quartet released Life In Colour in June 2021 and ended an intensive period of touring by welcoming in 2024 at Dublin Castle. That year would see the arrival of their fourth album Parked Car Conversations. A 2024 Irish tour was accompanied by news of an exclusive UK show at Brixton Academy in October 2024.
