Back To The Beginning: The Final Concert
Legends and heavyweights of heavy metal come together to celebrate Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s final ever performance on Saturday 5 July at Villa Park, Birmingham.
The metal spectacular, held at the home of Aston Villa Football Club, will be headlined by the original Black Sabbath line-up: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward who will play together for the first time in 20 years.
"It’s my time to go back to the beginning…. time for me to give back to the place where I was born," Ozzy Osbourne said. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham forever."
An all-star line-up of special guests including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon have also been announced.
Additional performances will come from Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan and Slash (Guns ‘n Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen and Zakk Wylde.
Music Director Tom Morello put it simply: "This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever.”
All profits will be donated equally to the following charities Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice, a Children’s Hospice supported by Aston Villa.

You've been there in some of the most horrific times of my life and some of the greatest times. The 80's was a singing decade for many. It was the only time I lived really. I've been to many concerts in my day. I've been a faithful & loving fan since I was 10yrs. At 13 I tattooed Ozzy on my left hand fingers and it's the only tattoo I have never regretted and most proud of. I'm 55yrs now and want to be at this concert so badly I can taste it. Sadly the nerve damage done in my years won't allow me to go. But what days I have left I have my memories and my beautiful tattoos at least. I pray I die before they cut my hands off so I can take my fingers with me. Ozzy you've been an inspiration to the world. You've taken some under your wing and done for them what no others could ever do. You never quit even when you could have ... should have but didn't. I will love you for eternity. Sharon is one lucky woman and you sir are one lucky man! You're not the prince of darkness you are the King of love & light. Don't sell yourself short for anyone in this world, especially yourself. My boyfriend and I attend metal concerts and festivals here in the states but have never gone to one out of the country. He has seen Ozzy a few times but it would be my first and only time and I wouldn't want to miss this. I see the times are 11/2/2025 at 10:00 am. I know there is a time difference for us here. Would it be the same time and day for us so we can purchase them as well? If anyone can please help a fellow metalhead finally get the final chance to see The Prince of Darkness!
