Miriam was very good and very intelligent and held the audience. Armadillo was missing direction boards and facilities on every level . Seating was good and comfortable with plenty of leg room
I was a little wary that despite loving Miriam Margolyes I may find her a little 'too blue' in person. I was incorrect, she was defiantly rude but as this was tempered with the warmth of her personality she got away with it! Some comments that from anyone else would appear crass and unacceptable seemed strangely endearing. She said what she thought and her intelligence shone through with every syllable uttered. I left with a tummy sore from laughing and feeling like I had made a friend.
Miriam never fails to shock in our virtually unshockable world. Speaks the truths the rest dare not say and all said will genuine compassion and feeling. The original warrior woman, is it possible not to like Miriam Margolyes.
Every time you see Miriam Margolyes it's just amazing, she has you laughing, crying, and every emotion but we ended up a few rows back from the seats we had booked due to my seat base broken off which was '1st time it has happened'. So we were given seats two rows back but were sat next to someone who worked at the venue who said it's always broken. Not good SEC
If you are easily offended this isn't the show for you but she is endearing, funny and very talented. A proper mix of stories from her life, honest question and answer session and a master class in acting with some real glimpse of why she has had such a long and successful career
Wonderful show. Miriam was so genuine. A spade was a spade. Great interaction with audience. Don't know when I last laughed so much. A true gifted actor not afraid to share her opinions and talent.
