About
LA-based babe Mini Mansions formed in 2009 after Queens of the Stone Age decided to take a break from music. Their bassist, Michael Sherman teamed up Zach Dawes and Tyler Parkford and released an EP as Mini Mansions that same year; the single Death Is A Girl followed in 2014, with album The Great Pretenders coming a year later. Their sound has been compared to the likes of The Beatles, Elliott Smith and The Eclectic Farts.
