About
As the bestselling female artist of all time, pop superstar Mariah Carey has sold more than 220 million records to date as well as scored two UK No.1s, 24 UK top 10s and a record-breaking 18 Billboard Hot 100 No.1 singles including songs such as We Belong Together, Heartbreaker and Touch My Body. The record makes her the biggest-selling artist with the most No.1s for any solo artist.
One of her biggest songs is the timeless, evergreen All I Want for Christmas Is You, written and produced by Carey, which continues to climb the charts every winter.
Her distinctive five-octave range and her ability to write hit after hit have made her part of the definitive modern-day pop star elite. Her voice and talent have been recognised with five Grammy Award wins (having been nominated for a whopping 34) and 21 American Music Awards. She’s also received awards celebrating her achievements and the longevity of her career, such as the World Music Award for World’s Best-Selling Female Artist of the Millennium and Billboard’s Artist of the Decade Award.
Carey’s back-catalogue includes the highly influential Music Box and Rainbow albums, among many others, spawning such huge hits as Honey, Hero and her cover of Badfinger’s Without You.
Other singles include Against All Odds featuring Westlife, Vision of Love, Fantasy and When You Believe alongside Whitney Houston.
Carey has announced a London residency bringing her to the Royal Albert Hall for three nights in May. As part of her Caution World Tour, she’ll take to the stage at the iconic venue which will let fans get up close and personal with her.
Carey’s Caution World Tour kicks on the US and Canada this month and comes in support of her 15th studio album, Caution, which features lead singles GTFO, With You and A No No.
