Magic at the Musicals returns to the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 28th September to celebrate the best in musical theatre.
This year we are thrilled to announce the show will be hosted by Magic Radio presenter, actress and comedian Mel Giedroyc and Magic Musicals presenter and West End superstar Ruthie Henshall.
Mel revealed the news on her Magic Radio Sunday Request Show whilst also announcing two new acts for the evening. The Producers, which is fresh from a sold out run at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory and is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of the classic cult film and The Bodyguard, the smash hit musical based on the 1992 Oscar nominated movie starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner which to date has played to over 3.9 million people in 15 countries.
These two new shows join the seven already announced musicals which include the global smash hit MAMMA MIA! returning to the stage, alongside the global hit production of MJ The Musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed Starlight Express, the box office smash and award-winning Back to the Future The Musical, the record-breaking seven times Olivier Award winning show Cabaret, Disney’s electrifying new musical Hercules and the show that has been getting audiences dancing in the west end isles for over seven years Tina - The Tina Turner Musical.
The event will see the award-winning London Musical Theatre Orchestra return to the stage with a selection of further shows for the evening to be announced.
Tickets are on sale now.
