London based singer-songwriter Mae Muller was discovered by her manager after uploading a video of her singing to Instagram. Her debut EP followed in 2018, when Muller was just 20 years old. "I find most of my inspiration with just my experiences of being a young female," Muller told Wonderland Magazine in 2018. "From love to heartache, to dealing with misogyny, and just girls having to stick together."

This inspiration formed the basis for her debut full-length Chapter 1, released in 2019 through Capitol Records. That same year, Muller joined pop powerhouses Little Mix on their mammoth UK run, an experience that brought Muller both a newfound audience and an even greater sense of confidence on stage.

She released a string of singles throughout 2020, including 'so annoying' and 'Therapist' ahead of the No One Else, Not Even You EP. A string of collaborations raised Muller's profile over the following years, including 'Better Days' with Neiked and Polo G – which would be her first foray into the UK singles chart – and 'Feels This Good' in 2023, which saw her team up with Sigala, Caity Baser and Stefflon Don.

In early 2023, Mae Muller was chosen as the UK representative for the 2023 Eurovision with her song 'I Wrote A Song'. Muller followed the announcement with news of a headline tour for later that year.
