After a massive inaugural year in 2017, which saw unforgettable performances by a host of UK and international acts, Livewire Festival is returning to Blackpool for the August bank holiday in 2019.
From 22 – 25 August, the seaside resort's Tower Headland Arena will once again welcome some of the world’s biggest stars.
The Thursday evening 22 August slot will be a celebration of British Comedy, with Jason Manford, Alan Davies, Mark Watson and Chris Ramsey all performing next to Blackpool’s now iconic Comedy Carpet.
Ms. Lauryn Hill is set to perform Saturday 24 August. She established her presence in the musical world as the lone female member of The Fugees, whose record sales would make them the second biggest selling R&B act worldwide since Michael Jackson. Hill launched her solo career with the release of the commercially successful and critically acclaimed album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which earned a record breaking five Grammy Awards.
They'll be joined by many other acts yet to be announced.
