About
For decades West End theatre lovers have flocked to see Boublil and Schönberg’s classic musical
Les Misérables has delighted London audiences since 1985, making it the longest-running musical on the West End. And since 2004, Sondheim Theatre has been Les Misérables London home.
Directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, Les Misérables West End production tells the classic story of Jean Valjean – a man condemned for stealing a loaf of bread – to his new life after a bishop shows him great kindness. Despite turning a new leaf, he is hunted by Javert for breaking his parole. His life on the run takes him to the heart of June Rebellion, where Paris’ students prepare for revolution.
With songs such as Do You Hear The People Sing, One Day More and I Dreamed A Dream, the spectacular soundtrack is the heart of this beloved musical.
Seeing Victor Hugo’s masterpiece come to life on the West End stage is an unmissable London experience.
