Les Misérables Musical

Les Misérables has been delighting London audiences since 1985, making it the longest running musical on the West End. With songs like Do You Hear The People Sing, One Day More and I Dreamed A Dream, the soundtrack is as iconic in its own right as the live show. In 2004, the musical moved from The Palace Theatre to The Queens Theatre, now named Sondheim Theatre where the production has remained to this day except for a four-month closure in 2019 for refurbishments during which a stage concert ran at the nearby Gielgud Theatre.

For decades, people have flocked to the Les Misérables London production to see Victor Hugo's classic story about the life of Jean Valjean, from a man condemned for stealing a loaf of bread to his new life after a bishop shows him great kindness. Despite turning a new leaf, he is hunted by Javert for breaking his parole. His life on the run takes him to the heart of June Rebellion where Paris' students prepare for revolution.
