  • Crazy but amazing

by Lou on 13/09/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 5 out of 5

My experience was amazing for my first time there but I will say that the weather definitely made it Crazy, seeing so many people come together to support the same persons music what unlike something I have ever experienced before. I will most definitely be coming back another year

  • I would go to the festival again but not camping

by Nicola on 02/09/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 4 out of 5

The festival itself is great, inside the arena there are plenty of bars, food stalls and clean toilets and the line up was fab. However, the camping is not so great. You walk miles to the site carrying all your stuff. You can pitch your tent anywhere, even if you have been allocated a coloured zone so the close sites fill up pretty quickly which means you have to walk even further to find a space. There are loads of staff everywhere just telling you which line to get in or move you on, their time might be better spent actually directing people to the sites or helping carry things. Camping trollies on hand to help anyone who is struggling would be good. The toilets are appalling, no running water at all just hand sanitizer which was often empty. How can you not have hand washing facilities with the toilets, its disgusting. By Monday morning the whole place was a mess, rubbish and tents left everywhere. More encouragement to ask people to pick up their litter should be made, plastic bags are provided but not being used. The wind meant that the rubbish was blowing everywhere all weekend. More information is needed on the website prior to arriving for first time attendees, such as how far away the camping is from the parking and drop of areas.

Went on the Friday and Sunday and especially liked Liam Gallagher, The Wombats and Lana del Ray. The ground was shut until safety checks and debris removed so three stages were defunct but Chevron was opened later. Good atmosphere but missed the big BBC stage and dance tent. The food was good especially Whitby Fish and Chips and rain kept off until the last half hour. The Co-op looked to be doing a roaring trade and liked the Festival Republic tent. Missed the comics this year and the games to win tee shirts. Not the best experience I have had this year but adverse weather broke more than stages and tents and look forward hopefully to better weather next year.

  • Wont be going again

by Josh on 27/08/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 2 out of 5

First off I get the weather wasn't there fault but the way they handled it on the Friday was embarrassing couldn't get any help to fix the tent after it broke due to high winds also the crowds were awful no one was singing and everyone looked like they just did there GCSE's

We arrived at 6am thursday for the weekend. Directed to car park furthest away from where we were camping which wasn't great. Had helpers going round who helped us to set up our tent which was a godsend considering the stormy winds so that was much appreciated! Camped in quiet camp - still noise from the fair & stages travelling over but people staying at quiet campsite were quite at night which considering we had 2 kids with us was great. Delays getting into the arena on friday due to weather; understandable due to risks and damage to the stages. Saw a girl almost get impailed by some scaffolding that fell down at the toilets at camp who was literally stood a foot away so there were genuine safety risks that resulted in delays in accessing the arena - end of the day if someone had been seriously hurt after they'd let people in then there would have been uproar so this was the lesser of 2 evils. The Radio 1 stage had a huge tear in it at the back but considering the weather was forecast I wonder if they could have had someone on standby to fix this when the wind died down? Stage closures reuslted in many acts we wanted to see being cancelled and new stages or set times for some acts, not all of which were put as notifications on the app, so we again missed some of the acts we wanted to see. Lots of food places around the arena, food prices as expected but drink prices we thought were quite reasonable (apart from the cans of water!) Lots of medics and helpers dotted about if there were any issues, though it took me asking 5 different people where I can get a child wristband from to write my number on incase my child got lost. Overall a good experience, just a shame about the weather & impact it had on the acts

  • Safe.Well organised.Great staff.Epic event.

    by S.Mack on 27/08/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 5 out of 5

I'm 50, my daughter's 16. We both had the best time, albeit slightly different. Diverse lineup, superb facilities, amazing food. Super safe. Couldn't fault it. We live 20 miles from the venue, so went home each night. It was REALLY EASY to get in and out - zero queuing, if you pick your time wisely - ie. Hang back in the race tent until around 2:30/3am… we worth it!

  • Overall good

by Han on 26/08/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 4 out of 5

Went to the festival as a family. And it was great! I think everything was fairly priced. Helpful staff and was safe. Only disappointing issue was the lack of signal and taxis at the end. Really poorly managed I feel at the end of the night resulting in waiting for 2.5 hours for a taxi which we had booked. All though this is not solely down to the leeds fest organisers. I feel that there should be more over sight and a better system in place for the end of the night to ensure safety and smooth process for those trying to leave.

  • Good time but missed out on acts due to weather

by Sophie on 26/08/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the artists we saw was absolutely amazing, very good. But was rather disappointed in missing a lot of acts due to the weather ripping the tents. Thought they would have moved some of the acts onto other stages when they was spaces, was really looking forward to Bradley Simpson, Good Neighbours and Teddy Swims and nothing got done about it. Reading paid the exact same amount as us at Leeds and got practically twice amount of acts. Bit disappointing.

  • Great time

by Wolvo on 26/08/2024Bramham Park - LeedsRating: 4 out of 5

Was a brilliant experience yet again, been going since 2019 and have enjoyed it every single time, however it's a bit of a shame about some similar genre artists being on at same time such as Prodigy and Blink 182, maybe a little better organisation with timings could be looked at for next year
