About Kick Ass with Chris Crudelli featuring Babes with Blades

Cult TV presenter, martial arts expert, self defence guru and best-selling author, Chris Crudelli, premieres his live stage show at The Forum this December, with some help from Babes With Blades, and you.

In 2004 Chris Crudelli gained the kind of late night cult status and notoriety that goes with television programmes broadcast long after most normal people have gone to bed. Mind, Body and Kick Ass Moves, originally commissioned by BBC 3, was a 10-part street level gauntlet style exploration of the exotic and mystical powers of Martial Arts Grandmasters. Proving to be a success, the follow ups - Kick Ass Miracles and Kick Ass in a Crisis -cemented Crudelli's reputation, not only as a martial arts expert but also as a canny and charismatic TV presenter. With the Kick Ass TV series still making an appearance on TV schedules, Chris has recently become a best selling author with his sports book The Way of the Warrior: Martial Arts and Fighting Skills from Around the World published by Dorling Kindersley.

While Chris is in demand from publishers, producers, theatre companies and is preparing for a fresh assault on the TV in 2009 (watch this space), he brings the premiere of his live action show to the Kentish Town Forum on the 10 December for what could have cunningly been called Kick Ass Christmas.

Adding lethal glamour to the proceedings, Babes with Blades (exactly what is says on the tin) ably assist in defence and attack demos with entertaining results that are easy on the eye. Through live action and fight scenes the evening recounts Chris's introduction to, and journey through the Far Eastern martial arts world. The painful trials, embarrassing tribulations and ultimate triumphs are embossed with TV clips, humorous back story anecdotes, live-action martial stunts, tricks and audience participation.
