Known as one of the most iconic forces in music history, in recent years Jeff Lynne’s ELO has delivered a critically acclaimed and chart-topping album along with a sold-out run of UK and European shows
Jeff Lynne was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame last year and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. The band has always been known for their epic live shows and with a distinct style that seamlessly and innovatively blends rock, pop and classical, ELO has had more than 20 Top 40 Hits across the U.S. and the U.K., making Lynne's sweeping productions some of the most recognizable music of the last forty years and helping sell over 50 million records worldwide.
Widely agreed upon as one of the greatest record producers in music history, Lynne was a co-founder and member of The Travelling Wilburys together with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty, as well as a producer and collaborator with some of the biggest names in music including The Beatles, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh and Bryan Adams.

Sadly Jeff was injured so couldn't play his guitar or perform as well as he would have. Jeff did extremely well for the first hour but then detoriated quite quickly, losing notes and having to sit down for the last couple of songs. So sad to see. Wishing Jeff a speedy recovery
I don't know who composed this email asking me "How did you enjoy Jeff Lynne's ELO" but their sarcasm knows no bounds. After being ushered into the arena like cattle, spending £3.90 on a can of Pepsi and finally finding our seats we were excited for what was going to no doubt be an incredible performance. 15 mins after the gig was about to start a (very brave) man stepped onto the stage to deliver the devastating news that Jeff was too ill to perform therefore the show was not going on. Whilst I wholeheartedly empathise with Jeff and send him my sincere wishes for a speedy recovery, I can't help but wonder when exactly this decision was reached? I strongly suspect it was prior to the thousands of people spending vast amounts of money on drinks and merch, but of course Co-Op Live would not want to alert the fans prior to them spending their hard earned cash thus resulting in lost revenue for the arena. Co-Op Lives motto should be profit over compassion. They played an absolute blinder.
ELO were great although Jeff Lynne wasn't too well at the end. The arena is very modern although a little out of the way. Waited ages to get back into Manchester after the show.
I'm so glad I came to see ELO, Jeff Lynne was obviously struggling with health issues But as the true professional he is, he battled on to give us a performance to see him for the last time The group and support were excellent. We have seen them before so knew we were in for a treat. The CoOp live arena was a fabulous venue and I would certainly go there to see other acts again.
Wonderful that Jeff afforded Dhani Harrisson the opportunity to perform Travelling Wilburys' numbers
Once in the venue through the VIP entrance no ques, cost of a pint was disgusting £9 but the show was brilliant all the hits and more. Sadly Jeff Lynne had broken his hand a few days earlier so couldn't play the guitar, it take away anything from the show though. He had to sit down near the end and then was helped of stage. Still a brilliant show and the sound and mixing was perfect in the coop live.
4th time seeing Jeff Lynne's ELO. Band was fantastic as always. Jeff really struggled. Had a hand injury that stopped him playing guitar and he was not with it. He missed queues or came in early, was out of tune, forgot words. The perfectionist he is will be very disappointed. Hope he makes the rest of the tour and his health improves.
Show was great, Jeff had a busted hand due to an accident, but it didn't deter him from firing out lots of ELO smashers Jeff and his band were amazing, and glad I finally got to see them, light show was amazing also, as expected., never buy merchandise normally but had to get a T Shirt for this one.
The staff were so helpful and we had a wonderful evening
