James was hilarious!!!!!! Such an incredible show and he's just like you see him on the TV. Saw him tonight at Northampton Derngate and my cheeks are hurting so much from continual laughter. What a show! Thank you James!
Firstly the venue was not a good venue. Seats were far too close to each other and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. We were in stalls and they were bad enough but rear stalls were fold down schools chairs. Awful. The show was called "Hecklers Welcome " but seriously bad hecklers that didn't give James anything to work with. Maybe he should think about planting some decent hecklers. He was a bit lost for most of the gig. It was like seeing someone who was just starting out, not someone who has been doing it for years. Was more like a 1st day of a "Work in Progress " show. We go to loads of comedy gigs and this wasn't very good. IMO
