The prestigious ISU European Figure Skating Championships will make a highly anticipated return to Sheffield at Utilita Arena Sheffield from 13 – 18 January 2026, with the UK set to host the event for the first time in over a decade – marking a milestone for British Ice Skating!
Visitors to the event will be able to witness world-class performances as around 160 of Europe’s elite competitors compete in four thrilling disciplines – men’s singles, women’s singles, pairs and ice dance, which will see skaters perform a program of awe-inspiring, intricate figures and wowing the crowds with their breathtaking skills and artistry.
As one of the final figure skating events before the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Winter Games, this competition offers fans an exciting preview of the talent and performances to come.

Men’s Short Program • Pairs Free Skate • Pairs Victory Ceremony
The competition heats up as the spotlight shifts to the Men’s Short Program, where agility meets artistry in the battle for gold. Later, the excitement & tension builds in the Pairs Free Skate – the final chance for teams to deliver medal winning performances. The evening culminates in the Pairs Victory Ceremony, celebrating the first champions of the ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2026.
Friday 16th January
Ice Dance Rhythm Dance • Women’s Free Skate • Women’s Victory Ceremony
The day begins with flair and musicality in the Ice Dance Rhythm Dance, where timing, expression and connection take centre stage. In the evening, all eyes turn to the Women’s Free Skate – a high-stakes finale where emotion meets athletic excellence. The night concludes with the Women’s Victory Ceremony, as a new champion is crowned at the ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2026.
