Follow all signs in and around Manchester for Sportcity/National Cycling Centre. The National Cycling Centre (NCC) is located behind Asda supermarket off Alan Turing Way. Detailed directions for both motorists and cyclists can be found on the NCC website under in the ‘About' section. https://www.nationalcyclingcentre.com/about/find-us Cycling The Ashton Canal (National Route 60) provides a traffic-free route for cyclists from Manchester city centre and Ashton to the Velopark. There are covered bike sheds close to reception for visitors, but they are advised to bring their own high security lock. Taxi There is plenty of space for taxi drop off and collection but no designated waiting area for hackney carriages. There are a number of private hire companies in operation in Manchester including Uber.
Metrolink The NCC is well-connected by public transport and spectators are advised to use the Metrolink where possible, stopping at the Velopark stop on the Ashton line. If there is a match on at MCFC public transport so please make sure to plan your route on the Bee Network website or app Nearest rail: Piccadilly Bus routes: From Manchester Piccadilly/City Centre: Nos 216, 230, 231, 235, 237. From North Manchester: D53. Alight by City Football Academy, and cross Ashton New Road, to access the National Cycling Centre via the Velopark canal bridge. You will see the entrance to the National Cycling Centre in front of you, after crossing the bridge.

Box Office will open one hour prior to racing each day.
There is no spectator parking at the NCC during major events. Parking will be limited in other car parks on the Etihad Campus due to events taking place including at the Etihad Stadium and the Co-Op Live Arena, so please allow extra travel time should you need it. Please walk, wheel, cycle and use public transport to the venue where possible. On days where there are no other events taking place on the Etihad Campus, limited parking is available at Gate 2, in the blue car park, accessible by Alan Turing Way, M11 3DU. Additional parking is also available in Manchester City Centre. There is limited parking available at the venue for blue badge holders. The venue is accessible for all patrons, with accessible toilets onsite. For all current events sold by Ticketmaster, companions of access customers get free admission when access customers pay full admission price. Please book through the main booking page, filtering to accessible seating. Guide dogs are welcome in all areas.
Conditions of Entry For your own enjoyment and safety and to avoid disappointment, please make sure you're aware of the following conditions prior to your visit, and observe all these restrictions pre, during and post event. Security bag searches will be in operation for all sessions at the event. NCC management will accept a small bag, rucksack or similar for personal use. Multiple bags per visitor will not be permitted. Please be prepared for this process and allow sufficient time before the start of racing. NCC management reserves the right to inspect any bag and/or articles of clothing. Please also note that flash photography is not permitted. Spectators are not permitted to bring the following items into the venue: • Large bags, holdalls or luggage (Larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm). • Food or drink, including water, but you are permitted to bring in one 500ml empty bottle each into the venue. • Glass, cans, aluminium bottles or thermoses of any kind including liquid products which can be consumed. • Flammable liquids in any container. • Laser pens/pointers. • Video cameras and professional cameras. • Laptop computers, iPads, Go Pros or tablets with filming capabilities. • Large/golf umbrellas. • Knives or weapons of any kind. • Illegal drugs or substances. • Signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks. • Animals (except service animals to aid persons with disabilities). • Air horns, whistles, cowbells or other noise-making distractions. • Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, footballs etc). • Fireworks, confetti or glitter bombs or sprays. • Balloons. • Wheeled footwear, skateboards. • Masks and helmets. • Anything else which we deem could ruin the enjoyment or viewing experience of others. Bag Search Security bag searches will be in operation on all national / major event days. No alcohol is to be taken off site. Drinking water from all venue taps and certain outlets are available, so you may bring in one 500ml empty bottle each into the venue. No smoking or vaping inside. NCC Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons.
No minimum age of admittance. Under 2s do not require a ticket but will not receive a seat as part of the purchase.
