About

Born Marcus Hopson, Hopsin signed with Ruthless in 2007. His debut, Gazing at the Moonlight, was released two years later. However, a battle in the press followed, with Hopsin claiming he had not authorized the album's release – although the end result was a professional split from the label.

By 2013 his third album, Knock Madness, had reached the top 20 in the UK's RnB chart, while his 2015 release, Pound Syndrome, reached the top 20 in charts across the globe. With guest appearances from Jarren Benton and Dizzy Wright, it debuted at No.17 on the Billboard 200.
