About

For the first time ever, all of Dolly Parton’s biggest hits can be experienced
together in a rollicking and joyous new musical comedy

Packed with the iconic songs Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, I Will Always Love You, Here You Come Again and more, this lively and touching new musical tells the story of a diehard fan whose fantasy version of international icon Dolly Parton gets him through trying times. With her wit, humour and charm, Dolly teaches him a whole lot about life, love and how to pull yourself up by your bootstraps…even if your bootstraps don’t have rhinestones! This is one musical that is sure to make you smile.

After several successful productions across the United States, and a sell-out UK tour, Here You Come Again arrives in London for a limited six-week season from 10 Dec. Adapted for the UK by acclaimed British playwright Jonathan Harvey (Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and Coronation Street), Here You Come Again was originally written by two-time Emmy award-winning comedy and song writer Bruce Vilanch, with Gabriel Barre (who also directs), and Tricia Paoluccio (who also plays Dolly).

Enjoyed every minute of it. The guy who played Kevin was spot on. So real and funny too. Dolly herself was amazing! What a voice! Absolutely recommend. Five stars 🌟

  • Great Music, Depressing Story

In common with most celebrity musicals, I expected a life story set to music, but no. This is set in 2020 during Covid when a guy was forced to isolate in his parents loft after his partner called it off. 'Dolly' arrives in a dream singing beautifully, supported buy a great cast. However the music has no relationship to the story, to say it was shoe-horned into to story is being polite. Loved the music - makes me Wonder if Dolly herself knew much about it !

I wasn't expecting great things from this as I only went with my daughter as she's a big Dolly fan. Well it was superb. I laughed all the way through and felt so happy at the end of the evening. The lady playing Dolly was out of this world. She looked like her, sang like her, spoke like her and had the mannerisms down to a tee. Kevin was hilarious, absolutely genius. I would 100% recommend. One of the best things I've seen, and I've seen loads of shows. Go!!
