About Hampton Court Palace 2021
Now in its 28th year, Hampton Court Palace Festival is a series of truly unique open-air concerts. Critically acclaimed artists perform in a 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace.
Returning next June, the Festival has an incredible line-up including Bastille ReOrchestrated, Tom Jones, Lionel Richie, George Benson, Rick Astley and Björn Again.
Make the most of your evening and arrive early to soak up the pre-concert atmosphere. Enjoy bars, serving up refreshing summer drinks, a host of gourmet street food stalls as well as picnic hampers which will be available to order beforehand. Hire a Waterside Gazebo to add a little extra luxury to your evening and entertain in splendour within the beautiful East Front Gardens.

The Festival offers a step-free route from the Palace Gardens to the Palace Courtyard. However, the Palace is an historic building and therefore has uneven surfaces.
Within Base Court, there are 6 wheelchair spaces and 6 complimentary companion seats per concert on the wheelchair platform.
In addition, accessibility requirements can be accommodated on the flat areas of the auditorium in specific locations within Blocks B, C & D.

The festival takes place at Hampton Court Palace in East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 9AU, UK. Each concert performance will take place in Base Court in a seated auditorium within the walls of Hampton Court Palace.
How to get to Hampton Court Palace Festival:
- By Train - the nearest train station is Hampton Court Station, located a short walk from the venue. Hampton Court Station is 40 minutes from London Waterloo with trains going twice an hour.
- By Bus - the bus routes R68, 411, 111 and 216 stop nearby the festival.
- By Car - the festival site is located within 20-minutes’ drive from junctions 15, 12 and 10 of the M25. There is free festival car parking available for festival goers which will be clearly signposted. Please use postcode KT8 9AU and follow the parking signs if you are using a satnav system.
- By Boat - you can get a boat service to Hampton Court Palace from Turks Pier at 17.15 in Kingston Upon Thames which is a short walk from Kingston Station in South West London. There is an additional boat service from Richmond, departing at 16:15

What time does Hampton Court Palace start and finish?
The formal East Front Gardens open for festival goers from 17.30 to enjoy pre-concert entertainment, food and drinks. The Auditorium opens at 18.30. The concerts usually start at between 20:30 and 21:00 - please check your ticket to confirm your concert start time.
How long does each concert last?
Each concert typically lasts for around 90 minutes with no interval for each Hampton Court Palace Festival date.
Is Hampton Court Palace a camping festival?
No, Hampton Court Palace Festival is not a camping festival.
Is Hampton Court Palace a family friendly festival?
Hampton Court Palace Festivalis family-friendly and welcomes fansof all ages, however everyone must havea ticket for the performance and children should be accompanied by an adult. For those booking the VIP Package, children aged 12 years and under are not permitted to dine in the state apartments.
Are the concerts outdoors?
Yes, the concerts are open to the elements and it is an outdoor event. There is limited undercover seating that can be selected at the time of booking. Please note umbrellas are not permitted.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there is a crèche in the East Front Gardens to store items which can be collected after the concert has finished.
What if I am late for the start of the performance?
Concerts will start promptly at the advertised time. Late comers may be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Festival goers can bring in their own food and drinks to enjoy before the concert. However, food and drinks are not permitted into the Palace or auditorium during the concert.
