About

The critically-acclaimed rock band head to the UK in November 2023

Greta Van Fleet have announced UK shows in November, performing in London, Manchester and Glasgow in support of their third studio album Starcatcher. Their forthcoming LP is set for release 21 July – pre-order here.

Catapulting the golden age of classic rock into the 21st century – with the hair and garb along with it – in a short space of time Greta Van Fleet have mirrored the success of their predecessors with stadium-filling tours, Grammy awards and chart-toppings albums.

Formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan in 2012, Greta Van Fleet are made up of brothers Josh (vocals), Jake (guitars) and Sam Kiszka (bass/keys), with old friend Danny Wagner on the drums. Their 2017 double EP From The Fires contained their debut single 'Highway Tune', which immediately made clear the band's love for bluesy, vintage 70s rock. The LP also featured rippers such as 'Safari Song' and 'Black Smoke Rising', tracks that were influential in the release's Best Rock Album at the 2019 Grammys.

After being invited to support fellow Michigan rocker Bob Seger, as well as play for Elton John at one of his famous parties, the band released their debut studio album Anthem of the Peaceful Party in October 2018. Its lead single was the punchy 'When The Curtain Falls', which they premiered on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Reaching No.3 on the Billboard 200, the album also featured the likes of folky ballad 'You're The One' and the hard rock 'Lover, Leaver.'

In 2021 Greta Van Fleet followed up with the Greg Kurstin-produced The Battle At Garden’s Gate, racking up enviable accolades including Billboard's No. 1 Rock Album, No.1 Billboard Hard Rock Album, No.1 Billboard Vinyl Album, and No.2 Billboard Top Album Sales. 'Heat Above,' 'Light My Love' and 'Age Of Machine' were particular fan favourites. In 2022 the band performed extensively around the world with their Dreams In Gold tour.

In April 2023 Greta Van Fleet released 'Meeting The Master,' the lead single from third album Starcatcher, to be released in July 2023. The band announced a string of UK shows for November 2023.

  • Maturing Band wonderful Show

by Eric the American on 16/07/2024Royal Albert Hall - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

This is my 8th show in my 3 year love affair with Greta. I've enjoyed every show from Nashville to Hollywood Hard Rock to Metallica and Rockville. Seeing them in the Royal Albert was unique. All them, great sound, and a slightly different type of fan. The boys have continued to polish their performance. Sam has grown as a keyboardist and started on the organ. Dan is more polished. Josh has even more control and added the harmonica. And Jake has a new twirling spin move he enjoys ending songs with. Josh really spends a lot of time engaging the audience. It's hard to say which show comes in first. Two nights under the stars were special and my first with the band. But the Royal Albert certainly rivals the group. Looking forward to many more!

  • Dream come true!

The best possible venue to see your favourite band and to see Greta Van Fleet there made my dreams come true! Perfect intimate venue which a huge arena simply can't compete with. Every seat has a great view and for those standing they are close enough to see their heroes up close. Greta Van Fleet are totally amazing, show their fans so much respect and give it their all. What more could you ask for?
