About

Deep house DJ and electronic music production duo

Known for their addictive take on bass-driven vocal house, North London dance duo Gorgon City formed in 2012 when multi-talented producers Kye “Foamo” Gibbon and Matt “RackNRuin” Robson-Scott joined forces and released their debut EP The Crypt. They followed it up with a second EP, Real, featuring Yasmin on the title single in 2013 and later that year also collaborated with Clean Bandit on Intentions.

The pair rose to fame when their first full-length album Sirens came out in 2014. It peaked at No.10 on the UK albums chart and was widely praised due to tracks like Go All Night featuring Jennifer Hudson and Ready For Your Love featuring MNEK.

Gorgon City unveiled the 2015 stand-alone single Saving My Life with ROMANS and then worked on tracks like All Four Walls with Vaults in 2016 and Real Life with Duke Dumont and NAATIONS in 2017.

When their sophomore album Escape came out in 2018, it included those hits and also saw them collaborate with rising acts like Lulu James and Raphaella.

Following a tour on both sides of the Atlantic that concluded in early 2019, Gorgon City unveiled the single Delicious on their own label REALM, created to showcase their work and more underground sounds. They also hosted a huge run of REALM parties at venues including London’s Tobacco Dock and Manchester’s Warehouse Project. A four-track EP named for their imprint arrived in 2020 containing the smash single Grooves On The Vinyl plus Elizabeth Street, Roped In and Trapdoor.

In April 2021, Gorgon City revealed the track Tell Me It’s True and confirmed details about their third album Olympia, arriving on 25 June 2021. Preceded by the single You’ve Done Enough featuring electro-pop duo DRAMA, they also collaborated with artists like Josh Barry, SOFI TUKKER, Aura James and Rose Grey while recording it entirely from separate locations, with Robson-Scott living in London and Gibbon residing in Chicago. To support Olympia, Gorgon City announced several UK headline dates for November and December 2021.
