About

Good Kid is a five-piece pack of rambunctious indie rockers from Toronto, a jack-of-all-trades ensemble of musicians, programmers, and storytellers.

Blending their skills with their J-rock, indie-rock, and pop-punk influences, they’ve turned the band into a massive internet art project. With a visual focus on their fictional character called Nomu, the band has created video games, curated inclusive spaces for their fans online, and struck a chord with some of the largest content creators in the world. Their music was featured on a recent MrBeast video, in the game Fortnite, and they are endorsed by content creators from the likes of Wilbur Soot, TommyInnit, and Ph1LzA.

The single “No Time to Explain”, from their new EP 'Good Kid 3', has garnered millions of streams on Spotify, and has been featured on radio stations such as Alt Nation, Alt 94.7, Out of Order with Ted Stryker, and more. With two sold-out headlining US tours in 2022, support runs for Lovejoy’s a sold-out UK and EU tours, and a nearly sold out headline tour in May 2023, it’s clear that Good Kid’s online following translates into the physical world in a truly substantial way.

  • Good Kid band where amazing

by N snail on 04/09/2025O2 Academy Islington - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

The Good kid band were amazing, the VIP with the band was very good but the venue let the experience down sadly. Asked to get to 02 academy for 5pm for VIP entry and VIP que not even open told by security to go to back of general que. From 5PM unable to purchase a drink until after the VIP event around 7pm and made to que on the stairs for quite some time before being let in didn't feel very VIP being held on the stairs for that amount of time and unable to buy a drink until main event started.

  • Extremely good, and very happy with the band.

Went with my daughter who is a massive fan and followed Good Kid for 2 years. At the age of 55 I have never been to a concert and can say they were a fantastic band. The members were all so interactive with the audience and were always making sure the audience was engaged, the guitarist, Jacob, was extremely funny and comedic, the bassist, Michael was extremely energetic and so enthusiastic, the vocalist, nick was very talented and his voice was amazing, the drummer, Jon was extremely skillful and very good to listen to, and David, the other guitarist was very nice and hearing him play the song for his father was an experience I hope I never forget, the whole experience was unforgettable and I hope to see the band again if they tour.

  • Good venue but

by SAP on 22/09/2024O2 Institute Birmingham - BirminghamRating: 4 out of 5

We're informed doors opened at 6 we arrived about 1745 and joined the 02 priority queue which was good expecting doors to be opened soon we'd be in . 6 pm came and went no movement , 6:30 still no indication that we're being let in , then it starts raining so at 18:50 we are allowed into the 02 lounge but not main venue , so held until just after 7. Being in the dry was great but talking to girls who had been there at 10am to claim standing near the front were not happy as they had to fight like everyone else to get to the front. Main issue is the information don't say doors open for general admission at 6 when it wasn't until 7 it's no fun standing in the rain. Having said all that the kids I took loved the band ( seen previously) it's a good venue for small bands
