About

Giants Live is the Official Strongman World Tour bringing the world’s strongest men to arenas across the UK

For nearly 50 years, The World’s Strongest Man on television has captured the dedication, drama and sinew-busting feats of professional strongmen and been watched by millions on television both across this country and around the world. It remains a hugely popular part of the Christmas broadcast schedule on Channel 5 – and these shows are filmed and shown as part of that line-up.

Giants Live’s shows are your chance to see these amazing, awe-inspiring athletes up close and personal. As the official qualifying shows for World’s Strongest Man, it’s only at our competitions you get the chance to see those who want to qualify to have their go at the coveted title won by legends like Geoff Capes, Eddie Hall and Tom Stoltman.

Our arena shows are special – they’ve evolved from being in a car park with 50 people watching on. Now, we go to the country’s biggest and most iconic venues where thousands watch the competitors carry cars, lift logs, throw giant boulders, pull trucks and so much more.

Bring the family, bring your friends and bring your colleagues to be in the audience and be prepared to be amazed as we bring the giants live to where you live.

    Ovo hydro Awful venue

by Paul on 20/10/2024OVO Hydro - Glasgow

The actual event was fantastic, can't knock the giants live team, put on a great show but, the venue was terrible, the food was the worst I've ever had at an event, they suddenly closed all the bars at 8.30pm well before the event finished whilst we were queuing, and the merchandise was way understocked for small sizes, sold out very quick leaving hundreds frustrated.

by Wee Shell on 20/10/2024OVO Hydro - Glasgow

Really fab show, some legend guest appearances in the legend Mark Felix and Iron Bibby! Only downside was bit slow in bits as were filming segments for channel 5 show for later this year.

    Awesome

by Winter Fox on 09/09/2024Utilita Arena Birmingham - Birmingham

This was our first time to the strongman event, it was absolutely brilliant, it was great to see how everything was actually put in place and the amount of crew needed to set everything up. The only downside was the queues for things like food, toilets or merchandise stalls, but your going to get that with the amount of people there. They do have a water bottle refill station too. We are going again next year.

    Evening of pure strength

by Ms-F on 08/09/2024Utilita Arena Birmingham - Birmingham

It was easy to get in on arrival. You were let in quickly, people traffic flowed smoothly. Staff were all friendly. Fans were also friendly. We were all there to watch and encourage the giants in competition. This was the first time we were able to go and loved every minute. On edge action, strongman brotherhood filled the arena. There were true, genuine shouts of encouragement for these giants. A superb night out, we have booked for next year.

    Great day

    by Dembers on 23/06/2024

We love Giants live days having been to several. The atmosphere is amazing. The stuff we don't like is all the people on stage whilst the athletes are competing. We know theres judges, filming, tech and shifting crew etc but there's always loads of others hanging around the edges or crouching at the front and sides. It is very distracting and makes the whole set up look shoddy. We know it's Colin's gig but he should at least make an effort to dress accordingly when we have paid 75 quid a ticket. Neil always looks immaculate and makes the event feel like big deal and a special event.
