George Clarke Tickets

George Clarke had only recently established his own architecture firm when he ‘stumbled’ into TV almost 20 years ago. A researcher and lecturer, he signed with a literary agent simply to get some of his academic research published, and within a week he was offered a screen test for Channel 5’s Build A New Life.

This would be the show that launched Clarke’s literary career. Within a few years, Clarke joined the growing roster of homes and property shows at Channel 4 and quickly became the channel’s "face of architecture". Clarke marked his 15th year with the broadcaster in 2022.

His TV highlights The Restoration Man, which introduced viewers to the enormous challenges involved in major renovation works, and Amazing Spaces, which exchanged these large-scale projects for ingenious small builds.

Clarke is set to take fans behind the scenes of both of these widely beloved shows in his debut live tour, George Clarke’s Life In Amazing Architecture, which will travel to 20 UK towns and cities this autumn. In the show, Clarke shares tales from his childhood, discusses how he was inspired to pursue architecture, and revisits favourite moments of his TV career, as well as talking audiences through some of the architectural highlights of their local area.
