With Cookery Theatres featuring live demonstrations from Masterchefs, Great British Bake Off and our Children’s cookery school, let us tickle your tastebuds and indulge in mouthwatering cuisine.

Not only is there a superb range of producers with gorgeous gifts, crafts, and homewares, but a culinary feast will be waiting for you featuring produce from the estate and entertainment for the whole family.

Stages

We will be welcoming some of Britain's favourite chefs including Lesley Waters from BBC Ready Steady Cook, 3 Michelin Star Chef Steven Doherty, Specialist Pasta Maker Carmela Hayes, Game Expert Chris Marney & George Mcivor OBE.

Our Gatcombe Stage will feature some of the TV's best bakers and pastry chefs including Howard Middleton and Karen Wright from Great British Bake Off.

Children’s Cookery Theatre

Our Children’s Cookery Theatre is headed up by award-winning Chef, teacher, writer, and nutritionist Adrian Delaney. The hourly classes will promote healthy, good food and nutrition. Whether directly feeding young minds with fun, inspired teaching sessions, through to cooking up tasty dishes. Adrian’s work in food nutrition has gained him three national awards and he is also a regular voice on BBC radio regarding topical food and nutrition topics. The bookable classes are clear, fun, and approachable for children of all ages.

Gloucester Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadet Corps

We are delighted to be joined by the Gloucester Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadet Corps, who work in our local community to give young people access to incredible opportunities and skills that help them to launch well in today's world.

Party Workshops

Party Workshops bring their beautiful eye-catching family circus to the festival. From juggling, stilt walking, hula hoops and diabolos, they make sure children are the star of the show. Fun and achievable for children of all ages and abilities.

Outback Children’s BBQ Competition

Outback Barbecues is thrilled to announce its partnership with BBQ Ben at this year’s Gatcombe Food Festival on 26th July. As part of its commitment to fostering a love for outdoor cooking, Outback will proudly sponsor the Children’s BBQ Competition, inspiring young grillers to display their skills.

FAQS

Yes, well behaved dogs are most welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Water bowls will be dotted around the site. We even have a few doggy trade stands for them to peruse!

No due to licensing laws, however there are many stalls, bars where you can buy alcohol and consume it here at Gatcombe Food Festival. Any guests bringing in and/or consuming their own alcohol will be refused entry.

Glass bottles are also not permitted, for safety reasons (other than to purchase and consume at home). So, please do not bring any glass bottles with you (even if non-alcoholic) and for any glass bottles purchased off our exhibitors, please wait until you are home, to open them.

Gatcombe Food Festival operates a Challenge 25 Policy and a zero-tolerance underage drinking policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 and are unable to produce ID evidencing that you are 18 years old or over, regrettably you will not be served.

Free parking will be sign posted and Marshalls will be on site to help guide you. Disabled parking is also provided however spaces are limited and on a first come first served basis (blue badge must be on show at all times).

There are disabled access toilets on site. Please be aware that the festival is on grassland. Although mostly flat, it can be undulating in places.

The festival opens at 9am and closes at 5pm each day.
