From The Jam - Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall: Friday 23 April 2010

From The Jam features original members of The Jam: Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler joined by Russell Hastings to perform all The Jam's greatest hits and classic album tracks including Start, Going Underground, That's Entertainment and other Jam originals written by Bruce Foxton including News of The World and Smithers-Jones.

A totally sold-out and rapturously-received From The Jam show was recorded in December 2007 at London's Kentish Town Forum and will be released as the "‘A First Class Return' From The Jam", DVD on 9 June 2008 through Invisible Hands Music. This release captures the truly electric celebratory atmosphere, the band's pervasive love of the songs plus the incredible crowd participation and feedback.

    A great gig in as much all 3 bands were on top form, but the venue could have been better. I was in the stalls and to get in and out of the toilets was a mission. It was also very cramped and if I ever go to the venue again I would get a ticket for one of the other floors. I saw Haircut 100 there, last year, and was on the first floor, which was a more enjoyable experience.

    London Calling & The Ruts started things off brilliantly. From the Jam are always great, the classic songs can't be beaten! Great atmosphere, mostly us middle aged blokes, but my GF had the best time too, highly recommend.
