Road To The Isles: The Final Farewell Tour
Progressive rock pioneer FISH, aka Derek William Dick, is closing off a forty year strong career with his farewell Road To The Isles tour across Europe and the UK. From 19 Feb – 9 March 2024, the singer will begin in Haddington and end in Glasgow, both in his homeland of Scotland, visiting Manchester, Bristol, Portsmouth, London and more in-between.
“I've been amazed at the response to the tour”, says FISH, “and the sales in the first week in Europe were phenomenal, so much so that dates had to be added to deal with the unprecedented demand. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to take a bow on such a high and with the UK dates going on sale this week and finally closing the circle I'm sure it's going to be an emotional finale.”
Dick earnt fame as the frontman of prog-rock band Marillion in the 80s, with whom he released over ten Top 40 singles and five Top 10 albums.

What can I say - absolutely brilliant night, seeing a master storyteller and singer bowing out whilst still at the top. Thank you Fish !
What a gig! Fish sounding absolutely fantastic, band superb, great sound End of an era!, but what a soundtrack to my life this man has given me and others for the last 40 years And to top it off, MSH encore!
Fish' voice was as good as it's ever been. The band and backing vocals were brilliant. Sung all the classics over a two and a half hour gig. Absolutely brilliant
Fantastic concert, great venue, fantastic friendly staff, very memorable. Just sad that this is fish's last tour and even more that Newcastle was his final concert in England. Great entertainer, going to miss going and seeing him on tour. Feel very privileged to seeing him live this last time.
Fish and is band was absolutely brilliant. The venue was terrible it was packed to the brim. People banging into each other moaning they couldn't see the band.
We bought tickets to see Fish months ago - we didn't want to miss the chance to see him on his farewell tour. He really didn't disappoint at all - it was a great gig and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! We are massive Fish era Marillion fans, but we had a great time. Fish is such a great entertainer, whether talking to the audience or singing the songs that he's famous for. It was also great to hear some of the old Marillion favourites at the end af the concert. He will be sadly missed on the touring circuit and we're so glad we went to see him. PS. His band are pretty good as well!
Brilliant concert. The small venue was very over crowded with views very restricted. What I heard of fish and the few times I actually saw him was fantastic. Just a shame he's retiring for better things.
Absolutely amazing concert fish was at his best. Sound was awsome
Fish and the band were excellent. Venue was rammed at the back, very well attended, not too comfortable. Wish I'd arrived much earlier and been nearer the front. Can't fault the sound. Fifth time I've seen Fish and he put on a great performance and enjoyed his night at Rock City.
