What should I bring?

There is no fixed seating in the courtyard. You are welcome to bring your own rugs, blankets and small cushions to sit on (sorry no chairs, back rests or portable furniture — inflatable or otherwise). Rugs and cushions can be purchased for £10–£15. In the instance of bad weather please come prepared.

Food and drink

There's a fully licensed bar and coffee point onsite, along with a selection of pop-up food, including Jimmy Garcia's BBQ Club serving fully loaded flame-grilled burgers, hot dogs and fries; and Little Moons' mochi-wrapped artisan gelato.

There are also a range of hampers and dining packages that can be pre-booked via the Somerset House website.

You're welcome to bring your own food and drink, but no glass (including jars), crockery or sharp knives are allowed into the courtyard. Customers are welcome to bring alcohol onto the site, but we reserve the right to use our discretion, and may confiscate anything deemed excessive. If you bring a glass bottle in, we will ask you to decant into plastic on arrival.

Certification

Entrance to double bill programmes is restricted to the film of highest certification.

Where a film is uncertificated, entry is to over 18s only.

Weather

The screenings are open air. The audience area is not covered. The screenings will go ahead whatever the weather — come rain or come shine. Please do come prepared as no wet weather provisions will be provided.
