About

There is simply no denying Dua Lipa’s pop culture power

Born in London to Kosovar-Albanian parents, Dua Lipa attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in her early teens. When she was 13 her family moved to Kosovo, but she returned to the UK two years later to pursue her interest in music.

Initially, Dua Lipa gained popularity singing covers and posting them on YouTube. She uploaded her first original songs to SoundCloud in 2012, which attracted the attention of Lana Del Rey's management. They signed and connected her with American music producer Emile Haynie, who’d not only worked with Lana but also Bruno Mars and FKA Twigs.

When her debut single 'New Love' came out in 2015 it was a huge hit. Dua followed it with a second single, 'Be The One', later that year. Soon after she was selected as one of the year's most promising emerging music acts for the prestigious BBC Sound Of 2016 longlist.

Dua's self-titled debut was released in 2017, which not only contained her earlier hit singles but other hugely popular tracks such as 'New Rules' and 'IDGAF'. The album achieved platinum status in both the UK and US, as well as earning her a record-breaking five nominations at the 2018 BRIT Awards, where she won British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

Trying her hand at electronic music in 2018, Dua Lipa joined forces with Calvin Harris on 'One Kiss', which topped the UK singles chart for eight weeks and became the country’s biggest selling song of the year. Silk City, the super duo consisting of Mark Ronson and Diplo, also collaborated with her in their hit single 'Electricity', complete with a video of the star dancing at a rooftop party in New York City during a blackout.

For the singer's sophomore album she said in a press statement, “what I wanted to make was something that felt nostalgic but had something fresh and futuristic about it too”. Inspired by artists like Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Outkast and Gwen Stefani, Future Nostalgia saw its lead track, Don’t Start Now, become a massive worldwide hit (as did its second and third singles 'Physical' and 'Break My Heart', respectively) – before the album came out on 27 March 2020.

2023 was a huge year for Dua, starring as Mermaid Barbie in the box office smash hit Barbie. Her track 'Dance The Night Away' also featured on the film, but beyond the big screen the song caused a frenzy of its own, reaching the Top 10 all across the world and hitting No.1 in Argentina, Belgium, Japan the U.S and beyond. Dua performed the track at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, where it was nominated for both Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Later in the year she released the single 'Houdini', the lead single from her forthcoming album Radical Optimism, released in May 2024. The track was produced by Danny L Harle and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker.

2024 is shaping up to be even bigger. In January she released 'Training Session', the album's second single, as well as starring in an ensemble cast in the spy action comedy film Argylle. In March she was announced as a Glastonbury Festival headliner and announced arena dates in Europe.

  • Nice surprise

by Angiehugs on 08/07/2025Anfield - LiverpoolRating: 5 out of 5

Our seats got upgraded by ticketmaster out of the blue. We ended up in the dugout lounge. It was a spacious area with plenty of seating inside, food kiosks and clean toilets. The whole area was so chill and really nice. The seats outside were padded so was comfortable all the way through. I really enjoyed Dua Lipa even though the ticket we had were because my daughter wanted to go, I ended up really enjoying it and the upgrade in the seats just made it even better

What a fantastic show. Dua Lipa absolutely smashed it. Entertainment from beginning to end. Loved every second. Such a well put together show. She and her backing dancers gave it their all. And we were so lucky with the weather. The support groups were great too and nice to see femal artists supporting each other. The stadium was ideal as there was plenty of room to dance around even in the seated areas and be able to see properly. Would also like to complement all the staff from the tube station, outside and inside the stadium who were friendly and helpful but above all kept us safe and everything moving smoothly. Sections of the crowd at a time were let into the station after (on a traffic light system) and the stewards explained over tannoys what was happening. They even started a couple of sing songs which kept everyone in a good mood. Would definitely choose Wembley stadium if any of my favourite bands play there. Looking forward to Coldplay

  • What a fantastic night.

We had a great night watching Dua Lipa. What a fantastic show, she was great. We also enjoyed the support acts, Alessi Rose and Dove Cameron. Two entertaining singers. Would definitely recommend this gig. We attended with our son and as two 'oldies' we were not expecting to enjoy Dua Lipa. But thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was awesome. 🤩

  • Misleading seating! Great concert

by Rachyroo on 27/06/2025Rating: 2 out of 5

I brought these as verified late tickets. However they should be sold with obstructed view because past row 50 in The Kop you couldn't even see the screens. I understood we'd be far away but the way the roof is you can't see anything. Managed to dance 20 rows lower in the stair well and Dua Lipa was absolutely amazing. 🤩

  • Anfield review - the kop

by Rachyroo on 27/06/2025Anfield - LiverpoolRating: 2 out of 5

Excited to find late verified tickets to Dua Lipa. I've sat in The KOP for football so understood I'd be far away but thought well the screens will be massive. Unfortunately past about row 50 and you could only see the bottom half of the screen. The should not be seeking these seats as it's completely pointless! Dua lipa and her show was incredible though. The Kop for events not so.

  • Fantastic concert and memories made

Easy process to purchase tickets and ticket delivery simple all we had to do was turn up and enjoy the evening.
