Weekend Arena Only gives you access to the arena on all show days (Fri/Sat/Sun)

Ticket holders are responsible for their tickets until exchanged for a wristband on first time entry. Camping wristbands allow unlimited access to and from the event. There is no re-entry on ticket alone. Download Festival will not replace lost or stolen tickets regardless of proof of purchase. Wristbands removed from the wrist or tampered with will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced.

 

Age Restrictions

Under 5s (ages 0-4 years) are allowed for free - no child ticket required, but must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

5-12 years olds must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult and each child will require a Child Ticket.

13-15 must purchase an ADULT ticket and be accompanied by a parent / guardian over 18.

Note: Download Festival will contain acts unsuitable for children

Parents may be asked to provide ID with proof of age if the child appears to be over 12 but holding a Child Ticket.

Don't take any chances - bring proof of age.

One pass provides access to parking for one car. Parking passes are non-refundable. Parking passes cannot be exchanged for cash or resold.

Car Park Passes are not an Entry Ticket – valid only when presented with a valid Download entry ticket.

You must display your car park hanger in your windscreen before you arrive at the car park entrance.

Car Park Passes are valid for carpark entry from 10^th June 2020 and are valid for the duration of the festival.

No sleeping is permitted in vehicles in the car parks. Anyone seen sleeping will be woken and moved on. You may face eviction for noncompliance.

Designate your driver and plan your journey home in advance to avoid driving when it is not safe to do so.

Do not leave valuables in your car.

No BBQs or Campfires allowed in car parks.

Car Park Passes are not transferable and only valid when purchased from official agents of Live Nation.

Lost & Stolen car park passes will not be replaced – this also applies to tickets which have been left at home, lost or miss-delivered by Royal Mail, or lost at any point prior to being exchanged for a wristband, including in the queue lanes, either before or after the ticket scan point.

Large vehicles may be subject to additional charges.

Vehicles searches will be in place.

Vehicle movement between car parks, unauthorised entertainment, trading are not permitted.

No refunds except in the case of major cancellation or substantial alteration of the event, or death, serious injury or illness of the ticket holder or immediate family member.

If you require Parking, you must apply and be approved for Parking in advance, please do not buy a Public Parking ticket.

One of the best ways to enjoy Download is with a campervan, caravan or trailer tent and if you’re lucky enough to have one you’ll need a ticket to camp in it.

A supplement ticket gives you access to your very own pitch measuring 9m by 7m within the site for your Campervan, Caravan or Trailer Tent.

One Supplement Ticket is needed per pitch, however every person staying on the pitch needs a weekend camping ticket.

Campervan passes for the disabled campsite will be available at a later date. Should you wish to purchase a campervan pass for the disabled campsite please contact access@downloadfestival.co.uk. Please DO NOT purchase a General Campervan pass as these are non-refundable and non-transferable.

For Download 2020 the Campervan Plus area will be located close to the main arena entrance! Each Campervan Plus Pitch gives you access to one pitch measuring 9m by 7m within the Campervan Plus campsite. Every occupant staying on the pitch must also be in possession of a valid 3 or 5-day weekend camping ticket, which are not included in your pitch purchase.

You will be allocated a pitch and your camping vehicle must fit within this space. Only one vehicle is permitted per Campervan Plus pitch. The electrical hook up point will be up to a max of 20m from your pitch please ensure you bring along your own cable.

Only these types of vehicle will be admitted:

1. Campervan
2. Motor home
3. Caravan
4. Trailer tent
5. Purpose built vehicle with camping facilities inside

Campervan Plus Pitch Upgrade Includes:

• Campervan Plus Pitch measuring 9m by 7m for your vehicle

• Campervan Plus campsite with: 24h reception, proper toilets & warm showers

Please Note:

• Campervan Plus is open from 12.00 Noon on Wed 10 June until 11am Mon 15 June.
• Access to the Campervan Plus area will close from 9pm to 9am - access in or out will not be possible outside those hours.
• If you only book a 3-day camping ticket, you can only use your pitch for those days.
• Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+, No under 5s.
• Vans with mattresses or bunk bed facility not permitted.
• Water hook-up not provided.
• No tents or gazebos can be pitched on your pitch.
• Gas cylinders will be permitted, providing they are professionally installed and certificated in a caravan/campervan.
• Cars, people carriers and vans ARE NOT PERMITTED to be slept in. If you do not know whether your vehicle is suitable, purchase a Package and send a picture of the vehicle to vipnation@livenation.co.uk. If it is not suitable, your ticket can be refunded or be used with an appropriate vehicle.

If you are bringing a motorcycle, you'll need to purchase a pass for parking. The bike park is located on the hard standing area in the West Car Park. One pass provides access to parking for one motorcycle. Parking passes are non-refundable. Parking passes cannot be exchanged for cash or resold.

You must have already purchased a valid weekend camping ticket.

Customers who are camping will only have access to the lockers situated in the campsite area. Your lockers will not be transferrable to the lockers in the arena as these are exclusively for day ticket holders.

The perfect place for your valuables (such as phones and cameras), our campsite lockers sell out quickly so don't miss out!

Each locker is approximately 25cm wide x 15.5cm deep x 10cm high and is equipped with a USB socket so you can plug your cable in for your phone, camera, portable charge and other electrical devices. Your locker will be available 24 hrs a day during the festival and they are managed by security with CCTV monitoring.

You will be able to access your locker 24hrs a day during the festival once you have checked in. (Please note: The check-in office opening hours are 9am-9pm. You will not be able to check in between the hours of 9:00pm and 9:00am). 

You will be issued an electronic email voucher from Lockerhouse seven days before the festival, enabling you to register quickly at the Lockerhouse box office.

Planning to camp in the disabled campsite? Lockers for the disabled campsite will go on sale at a later date. Please email access@downloadfestival.co.uk  for further details. Please DO NOT purchase a Locker in the general campsite as these are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Ready To Rock field will have toilets and hot showers just for RTR Campers and new for 2020 is the pamper areas with blow dryers, straighteners and mirrors.
