Toronto's jagged dance-punk duo

Death From Above 1979 are Canadian dance-punk band formed in 2001. A duo consisting of bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer-vocalist Sebastien Grainger, the band broke out with their 2004 debut You're a Woman, I'm a Machine. With songs such as 'Romantic Rights' and 'Little Girl', the duo's first album set a manifesto of jagged and distorted distorted grooves that would guide further releases such as 2014's The Physical World and 2021's Is 4 Lovers.

    I wasn't impressed at all. We left after 20 minutes. The sound quality was terrible. A shame because I quite liked the venue.
