About
Deaf Havana are an alternative rock band hailing from Norfolk. The band formed in 2005 when members – lead vocalist Ryan Mellor, guitarists James Veck-Gilodi and Sebastian Spitz (later replaced by Chris Pennells), bassist Lee Wilson and drummer Tom Ogden – met at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia.
The band hit the road for a UK tour in early 2019 – their first headline run in two years to promote their most recent album, Rituals. Released in 2018, this is Deaf Havana's third album to chart within the top 10 on the Official UK Albums Chart. Rituals features the singles Sinner and Worship.
Since their formation, Deaf Havana have have released five albums in total so far, and are known for their singles such as 22, Smiles All Round, Little White Lies, Hunstanton Pier and I’m a Bore, Mostly.
Deaf Havana have recently announced an additional series of UK shows for 2019 coming this November!
