Co-op Backstage Club Tickets

The backstage club was made to sound like a great, early access experience. In reality it was a 20 minute earlier entry from standard entry due to late opening and only one entrance for VIP and standard club. The entertainment area is actually a pool table, one gaming machine and a photo booth only usable by COOP members. Then there was the lack of merchandise, only 3 t-shirts to choose from, 1 sweatshirt and no programmes available at all. How can this be classed as a bonus or premium accessibility when there is so little choice compared to the general merchandise stands which has a choice of at least 8 t-shirts, 2 sweatshirts, denim jacket, numerous flags plus other items and programmes. Overall it was a disappointing experience which I will not be wasting my money on again.

I expected 2 free drinks vouchers so we could have had a drink before and after the gig. Not enough seating and more choice of t-shirts and stuff on the main Merch stand. It was a good atmosphere but limited food and pizza quite expensive although tasty. DJ after the show was great playing The Smiths and Morrissey songs so we were able have a dance in our post gig euphoria although it ended abruptly just before midnight. Drinks quite expensive, for £34 I expected more reasonably priced pints to be honest, paid £9 for a pint of Guinness. Staff were helpful though. One big complaint was the mixed gender toilets, it's uncomfortable and unnecessary. There's enough to make one for males and one for females, I don't want to see blokes standing with the cubicle door open having a pee and younger people might feel awkward. Apart from that it was a good atmosphere although should be £20 for what you get.

Well, the name alone sold it for me. I was expecting all the bells and whistles that you'd expect 'backstage'. There was simply not enough seating for starters. Aside from access to the venue without queuing up, a free pint before and access to the bar post gig, you get, er, nothing. I was under the impression that it'd be a hop, skip and a jump from the backstage club area to the main hall entrance. Wrong! 6 minute walk through all the lovely bars and restaurants everyone else was accessing. The customer experience not in the Backstage Area looked amazing. A great venue, with great facilities compared to Manchester Arena, but save your cash!

I purchased the back stage pass and was complete waste of money. We got one drink and it said on the website there was music/entertainment so was really looking forward to it. It was just a quiet bar with absolutely nothing on whatsoever, when I complained they just said it's out of their hands. Very disappointed, I advise people to be wary of purchasing this pass.

The room had no atmosphere. It was just dark and cold. The food was rubbish. Pizza or chicken wings of various flavours One drink each was included in the price. Drinks we would have paid £16 for in the stadium. I'm absolutely gutted and won't fi it again I feel a refund would be a good gesture!

It took 30 minutes to get through the queue and into backstage club, what was worse was main doors opened at 5.23pm and we were still waiting to get into backstage club. I booked it to have a better experience was not expecting to queue longer than others in a normal queue

Great idea in principle, not worth the money though, should be £20 tops, nobody could direct us to the exclusive merchandise stall, no need for so called unisex toilets, no reason for not having separate ladies & gents blocks, everything overpriced. Definitely cost at least needs to be looked into.

Luckily we purchased Backstage Club passes so our experience was slightly better than others. That being said the venue is very badly organised and managed. Even in the backstage club no one was told the performance had started. People cued for over an hour to get in, miss the first few acts. Food services, no management or organisation meaning food took 3 times longer. Drinks are extremely over priced and once inside the venue you can not leave so it's like a prison.

Well organised & sign posted well. Easy to get around venue. Easy access in to the Backstage Club. The area was very clean & bright. The music was good & easy access to the bar & toilets. All staff friendly and helpful. Free cloak room & access all night to the area. Worth paying the extra.

When I booked to go to the backstage club I was expecting a lot more for my money. All I got was 1 free drink, a very mediocre choice of food and simply the privilege of being in a pretentious bar with a DJ before the show and then no DJ afterwards. I also couldn't get a table because there wasn't enough tables to people ratio and for £35pp you would expect to have a seat. I was expecting more complimentary drinks, quality food provided and more entertainment. I did really like the vibe and decor though just not the value for money. I feel it should be priced more affordable around £15 it would be better value for what you get.
