  • Room for improvement

by Kenno on 20/10/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

Great concept really enjoyed the experience. After concert went for drink after show only 2 staff serving did increase but 20 mins to get a drink. Definitely need to improve on that.

  • Requires Improvement

by Kerri on 22/09/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

We purchased the backstage club as we thought it would be a good experience for our teenager who was at her first gig for one of her favourite artists. On reading the reviews and what was seemed a good idea, free drink and space to purchase merch and have a quiet space too. On arrival at the requested entrance, there was 2 queues, both for different things with no one managing this to check if people were in the right queue. We were given a 5.30pm slot and the other queue were for VIP experience and earlier time so they were let in first. As it got closer to the time for us, our queue just got longer and longer, however still no one outside managing..which resulted again in 2 queues. It got to 5.30pm and still no entry. We were finally allowed in at 5.45/5.50pm and were given some drinks tokens and to be honest, once you are in, it is nice and quiet and you can just have space to sit before doors open to find your seat. We had a drink, found the toilets and can see why this would be a nice space to chill before and after a show. What let this down is the the merch seemed very limited to what you could get which once you see the other stands near to where you are standing/seating there is more choice. However, the queues for that did not ease for ages so in this case we got what we needed from the backstage bit. The other thing that let it down also was People queueing from the doors to where you to find your seat. This happened quite quickly and the queue goes all the way through the middle kf the backstage club area which was annoying. Once those doors opened it was fine, but then you werent able to access your seating area anyway so unnecessary. The organisation of it was really not great and when waiting with teenagers/kids not idea. However the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was good. Didn't try the food so can't comment. It's a good idea in itself and worth the little extra, however better communication, especially the staff need to know more on what they are doing and keeping to time etc these could be improved. Thank you for the staff that did their best despite the issues and managing annoyed parents!

  • Would definitely recommend

by Becca on 13/09/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

Made the experience so much more relaxing don't feel like your rushing to get in and find your seats you can enjoy the concert experience more

  • Not quite got it right yet

by Jude on 10/08/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

The Backstage Club is a great idea - for it's early access, good vibe with great music, little queuing at the bar, access at intervals and especially post concert access so you can avoid leaving at the same time as everyone else. It was let down on this occasion (8/8 - Justin Timberlake) by having to queue for about 45 minutes to get in. Doors were meant to open at 5.30, I understand there was a delay in that happening and when we arrived at approx 6.45 we had a long wait in the rain to get in. This is unacceptable really when you've paid extra for priority access. There should definitely be more than one scanner at the entrance door. I think more thought needs to go into the organisation and efficiency of entry to the backstage Club.

  • Amazing

by Sophie on 09/08/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely love this! You did so well with the whole arena! The backstage pass is definitely worth buying

  • Very late entry

by Christopher on 09/08/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 2 out of 5

Entry was 1 1/2 hours late & the same time as general admission very disappointed for what we paid it worked out our complimentary drink cost us nearly £40 each so it wasn't value for money

  • Don't bother

by Linzb on 09/08/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 1 out of 5

We were left queuing outside for 45 mins in the rain and wind whilst they filtered people in one at at time (yes ONE AT A TIME) so there wasn't any time to do anything but get a drink by the time we got in! There are no where near enough seating for everyone so there wasn't anywhere to sit with a drink when I did eventually get one. It's a waste of money to be honest

  • Outstanding experience. Well worth the extra money.

by Stevie fan on 25/07/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

After having some poor experiences as other gigs attended recently (not Co-op Live) when queues for bar /loos were long & at one gig the card machines went off, I decided to buy Co Op Backstage tickets for Stevie Nicks. So worth it. The advert & photos don't do it justice. Early access (17.30pm) and late after show access. 1 Free drink. Free cloakroom. No queues at the bar or toilets. You can still access the Backstage Club during the event. Great atmosphere and music in the club. There's food but I didn't have any. Well worth the extra, I've recommended it to others, and would definitely use it next time at Co-op Live.

  • Backstage club

by RobertandLiz on 18/07/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

We have experienced the Backstage Clun on two occasions and found it a brilliant place to relax before and after the concert. We will certainly enjoy this facility on any future Co-op Live visits.

  • Brilliant place to start your concert experience.

by Kes on 17/07/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

The backstage experience was definitely worth paying for. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Having a cloak room was a benefit, Food was lovely and using the QR code system worked well. The gesture of a free drink was welcomed. The area where the backstage was, had great decor and a bonus of a DJ playing. Very relaxing atmosphere and we would definitely purchase this again, when coming to an event. Only downside was not being able to stay and have a drink after due to driving back home to Derbyshire. Fantastic venue and easy to get to. Thank you Co Op Live Arena for a memorable night.

  • Co-opBackstage Club Review

by Taylors on 17/07/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

We were a little disappointed with our backstage club experience. I decided to add the experience to our tickets because I can get anxious in crowds. Sadly we were kept waiting outside well past the time we were supposed to enter. I think around 30 minutes which only ment we were 30 minutes ahead of the usual entry time. We had no explanation as to why. Once inside there was very little choice of food options and we felt rushed to leave afterwards.

  • Fab spot to spend time

by Buster on 17/07/2024Co-op Live - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

So pleased that we booked backstage passes, loved having a place to go that was slightly calmer than the general areas before the show. Being able to use throughout the show for loos and bar made such a difference. Great atmosphere altogether. Only criticism was after the show we thought we'd take the opportunity to use backstage whilst the car park eased off. We were one of the first back in at the bar but pretty much got ignored for over 15 minutes whilst others started to get served around us. Barman seemed to have tunnel vision, so we just left it. Drinks were pricy enough without having to beg for one!!!!! All in all brilliant experience but let down at the very last moments.

  • Great Place to relax but…….

by Boiling Hot on 26/06/2024Rating: 4 out of 5

Went to the back stage club last night and really enjoyed the experience. Relaxed atmosphere plenty of seating and over all great experience. The one big downside was that they don't cater for food intolerances or dietary requirements except some vegetarian meals. If you are visiting and are vegan or lactose intolerant like me then eat before you go unless you like chips.

  • Cool vibe

by Great place to hang out on 23/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Fabulous cool vibe great chill out between acts, maybe could have a local accoustic singer pre support act and stay open with the DJ another half an hour but overall a fabulous experience and the first drinks in with the ticket price.

  • Waste of money

by Minners on 22/06/2024Rating: 1 out of 5

There aren't enough seats ,nowhere to stand and put your drink down, to far away from our seats on level 3 so pop in out for a drink or the toilet no hope.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

  • Not worth it

by Asp on 20/06/2024Rating: 3 out of 5

Backstage pass isn't worth it , you get a free drink £8.35 worth , the food is scandalous, £8 for salt and pepper chips , you get about 12 chips , thought we was paying to be near the front and ended up at the back
