About Citadel Festival

Citadel Festival is a one day summer music festival which takes place on Sunday 14 July 2019 in Gunnersbury Park, London in the UK. The festival blends live music acts with a wide range of activities, including food and drink, theatre, arts, activities, comedy and many more events. Citadel's previous headliners include huge UK festival exclusives such as Tame Impala, Foals, Caribou and Sigur Ross, along with Ben Howard at the first festival. Citadel is a family friendly festival and this year presents the brand new Kids & Family area for 2019. The area includes wide range of family activities, performances, games and facilities on-site at the festival. Meet Peppa Pig, Enjoy the Royal Albert Hall's band, get creative with the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, take part in Young Yogis and more.

When is Citadel 2019 and what time does the festival start and finish?

Citadel Festival 2019 is on Sunday 14 July 2019. The festival starts at 12:00 runs until 22:00, with last entry to the festival at 20:00.

Where is Citadel and how do I get to the festival?

Citadel is based in Gunnersbury Park, London. Public transport is the best way to travel as there will be no parking at the festival, or surrounding Gunnersbury Park.

  • By Tube - The nearest Tube station is Acton Town (District and Piccadilly lines) plus a seven-minute walk to the park entrance. You can also get to the festival from Ealing Broadway tube station and get the Central and District lines plus a 25-minute walk to the park.
  • By Taxi - There will be a taxi rank in within the park for private hire vehicles and a drop off point.
  • By Bus - Scheduled bus services will be disrupted in the area around the park, however pre-booked taxis, private hire vehicles and Ubers will be allowed access to a taxi rank within the park post event.

Are there any age restrictions?

There are no age restrictions, with ages 12 and under going free, however under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Is Citadel a family friendly festival?

Yes, the festival is very family friendly and even has an exciting new kids and family area for 2019. This designated area includes creative Roald Dahl workshops, Peppa Pig meet and greet, a soft play area and lots more. Read more about the Kids and Family area on our blog.

Yes, you can purchase six tickets for the price of five for Citadel Festival 2019.

Can I book accessible tickets for Citadel 2019?

Yes, Citadel offer accessible tickets and also operate a two for one (free PA/carer ticket) policy for eligible guests. Read more about accessible tickets and how to book on our help page.

What are the payment dates for tickets via the deposit scheme?

The first payment is charged immediately on purchase, the second on 1/4/2019, and thirdly on 1/5/2019. The fourth and final payment will be charged is due on 3/6/2019.
