FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves – in association with BOXXER and Matchroom

The bitter Eubank/Benn feud has been reignited. It’s been 35 years since their legendary boxing fathers Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn slugged it out in the first of two ferocious battles for the World Middleweight and Super-Middleweight titles in the 1990s. The family rivalry is considered one of the most iconic in boxing.

The blockbuster 26 April 26 ‘FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves’ fight night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium headlined by Eubank Jr. vs Benn is part of a unique collaboration between Ring Magazine and SNK Corporation, the famous Japanese video game publisher known for the franchises such as the King Of Fighters and Fatal Fury.

The headline Eubank Jr. vs Benn fight is part of an incredible card which also includes Light Heavyweights Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur embarking on a trilogy fight after Yarde avenged his twelve round decision defeat to Yarde in 2020 with a four-round knockout a year later.

Plus, former World Champion Liam Smith returns to action against unbeaten rising star Aaron McKenna, while former World Cruiserweight Champion Chris Billam-Smith will take on Brandon Glanton, on a streak of three wins by knockout. In another Cruiserweight battle, British Champion Cheavon Clarke defends his title against undefeated London rival Viddal Riley.

Certainly one for the history books and we felt honoured to be able to witness this fight live. It lived up to the hype and was one of the best fights we've been to in a long time. If I had any criticisms it would have to be the bar situation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, disorganised and mismanaged which meant we missed loads of the undercard. Still the main event totally delivered and we're still buzzing.

  • FARCE OF AN EVENT

I took my son to this event as a birthday gift, from the moment we arrived the queues for refreshments were obscene. To our surprise twice we had to remove what i can only describe as travelers from our seats and on both occasions being threatened or told to just stand, this was happening all around us and i am sure these incidents will have been documented, the security had been totally overwhelmed by these guests who shouldn't have even been in this section in the first place. So now on to the main event, around 20 mins prior in our seating area the crowd starts to surge forwards we are completely surrounded by standing patrons our space/area between rows is three persons deep, literally getting squashed off our seating and being trod on, we are in the second row E/2/1 and E/2/2 and there must have been at least 4-5 people in front of us can you explain why this was the case? We barely got a chance to see any of the fight 'live' and resorted to watching most of it via the screens, absolute garbage for the price we paid for these already overpriced tickets. i will be seeking a full refund and i can guarantee most people in this section will probably be doing the same as the feeling around us was of sheer disgust that this was even allowed to happen, Very poor show.

Brilliant show at an amazing venue, my only complaint is that after the fight I saw people with Ring magazine programmes, I never saw these for sale or anywhere inside or near the venue to purchase.
