About British Sea Power
Indie rock band British Sea Power formed in 2000 in Brighton and released their debut album, The Decline of British Sea Power in 2003 that opened to critical acclaim. It was at this point that The Sunday Times declared British Sea Power to be, "The best band in Britain". The singles Carrion and Remember Me entered the British Top 40 and Top 30, respectively. Their follow-up album, Open Season, was released in early April 2005, and again enjoyed wide critical praise.
Their live shows have often attracted attention thanks to the large stuffed birds that perch on stage and the militaristic uniforms worn by the band members.
