British melodic rock outfit Boston Manor (vocalist Henry Cox, guitarists Mike Cunniff and Ash Wilson, bassist Dan Cunniff and drummer Jordan Pugh) formed in Blackpool in 2013, spurred on by the lack of a local music scene. They self-released their debut Here/Now EP the same year, as well as teaming up with Manchester-based Throwing Stuff for a split record. Following the releases, the band were picked up by independent label Failure By Design for their second EP, Driftwood. The six-track record, along with the band's relentless touring cycle, garnered them notable acclaim in the underground alternative scene. They subsequently drew the attention of Pure Noise Records for the release of their third EP, Saudade, as well as their long-awaited debut full-length Be Nothing in 2016.

Taking to multiple festivals around the globe and following acclaimed headline shows, Boston Manor released the standalone single Drowned In Gold the following year, before unveiling their sophomore Welcome To The Neighbourhood album in 2018. The record marked their first foray into the official UK album chart and secured mainstream radio play across the country. Boston Manor join Good Charlotte and A Day To Remember on their US tour. Maintaining their momentum, the band released Liquid, featuring John Floreani of Trophy Eyes, and an acoustic rendition of Welcome To The Neighbourhood's England's Dreaming.

In May 2020, Boston Manor released their third studio album GLUE, returning to the UK album chart. To celebrate the release, the band announced headline UK shows rescheduled to March 2021. Later in the year, they also announced a very special hometown performance, set to be live streamed from Blackpool Tower on 15 October 2020.
