About

After two smash-hit sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, Bo Burnham is about to commence his second UK tour featuring his signature combination of sophisticated wit, expert showmanship and breathtaking musical ability.

A few years ago, not many people in the UK had heard of Bo Burnham. But in 2010 the Edinburgh Festival changed all that, bringing Bo a plethora of five star reviews and stupendous critical acclaim. He received the Spirit of the Fringe Award and was the youngest performer to ever be nominated for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award in the Festival’s 30-year history.

Bo’s new comedy tour, What, epitomises the frenetic intelligence that took Edinburgh by storm in 2010. jam-packed with new material, Bo’s latest enterprise features songs, dance, magic tricks, intricate wordplay, prolonged eye contact and a love poem entitled I F*** Sluts, alongside a couple of well loved audience favourites.

The youngest person ever to record a Comedy Central special, Bo’s YouTube videos have been watched by millions of worldwide fans. This year, he created, wrote and starred in his first comedy series, Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous, for MTV.

"The problem with Bo Burnham is that he's 22 and better at what he does than anyone else in the world." So tweets one of the American wunderkind's fans after tonight's masterclass in stand-up and musical and physical comedy. They're dead right.”
***** The Independent (What. Edinburgh 2013)

“Wow. Bo Burnham is back, with a full-frontal assault of music and meta-comedy that leaves you gasping for air.”
**** The Guardian (What. Edinburgh 2013)

“A Master of his Art”
***** The Telegraph (What. Edinburgh 2013)

“The expectations for his Fringe follow-up were sky high, but Burnham’s officially smashed them to smithereens."
***** Time Out (What. Edinburgh 2013)
