Bloodstock will return in 2021 and be adding an extra day! So the festival will be five days and start from Wednesday, as opposed to Thursday. The dates for 2021’s edition will be 11 – 15 August.

Celebrating 20 years of being the UK's No.1 metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air remains family owned and run to this day.

Bloodstock is well established as a firm favourite and an essential event in the heavy metal calendar. Held at the picturesque location of Catton Park in Derbyshire, Bloodstock has won the hearts and minds of fans of heavy rock and metal by consistently showcasing the strongest metal line-up on UK soil, both stellar homegrown artists and world class international acts. By the fans, for the fans!

Expect up to 20,000 metal brethren descending on Derbyshire in August 2021 for five days of unadulterated, full-on heavy metal and helping Bloostock celebrate its 20th edition! Globally renowned for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all ages and types of metalheads.

The 2021 line-up features Devin Townsend, Judas Priest, Saxon, Paradise Lost and Skindred, along with many other incredible acts like Bury Tomorrow, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Jinjer, Dark Tranquility and many more.

Bloodstock is proud to present over 120 international rock and metal acts across four stages, as well as other attractions including a huge international metal market, late night entertainment (comedians, movies and more) fairground rides and other events like axe-throwing, zorbing, or medieval reenactments, Lemmy’s Bar in the main arena serving real ale and cider plus a wide range of delectable food whether you’re a veggie, vegan, carnivore, or gluten-free.

When you’re in need of a break, you can sit down with a cup of tea for a massage or head to the much loved signing tent to meet your favourite bands of the weekend. Then have a stroll around the Rock And Metal Gallery to admire a diverse exhibition of rock n roll art, photography, and specially created guitars, and, for those of you who want some extra creature comforts, enjoy an extra special VIP experience in the Serpents Lair camping and hospitality backstage bar, offering over 100 different real ales and ciders plus other exclusive entertainment and facilities.

With extensive on-site parking (motorcycles included), coach pick-up points all over the country and a shuttle from the train station too, it couldn’t be easier to join in the fun. This really is an unmissable date in the head-bangers' calendar!
