About

Beach Slang are a Philadelphia-based act. Frontman and writer James Alex cut his teeth in the Pennsylvania pop-punk act Weston while drummer JP Flexner and bassist Ed McNulty played in projects such as Ex-Friends and Crybaby.

The feeling of youth and vulnerability lie at the core of Beach Slang’s music.

The band's first full-length album, The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us, came out in 2015.
