About

For the past three decades, Bananarama’s Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward have been one of pop’s most influential and revered groups. Their hit-packed career happened because they were the mould-breakers.

Sometimes reminders of pop genius come in the slightest of touches, the subtlest of triggers. And Stereo, their 11th studio album, is full of them.

In July 2021, Dallin and Woodward are bringing Bananarama to the UK for a special show at Kew The Music. They'll be supported by Gabrielle and Rebecca Ferguson.

Took the darling daughter to see Bananarama for the second time. The first time she was 6 and a half! This time she was a tad older nearer but the gloss and glamour of the girls was undimmed. Their songs took us straight back to that happy time when we first saw them remembering a magical performance. They didn't disappoint, the voices were spot on in every way. Because I had been slow off the bat I paid top dollar for our tickets but they were worth every single penny. I'm just sad that due to family issues I couldn't see them this time around but I am sure they will still be touring in years to come. If it's good enough for The Stones et al then why not the girls!

Bananarama burst onto the scene when I was 20, they were hip, trendy and sassy 40 years on and they are none of these now, and should consider going back to a trio, with Jane MacDonald as a member, because that's where they are at now, a cruise ship cabaret act I wish them all the best for the future, but I won't be back
